All libraries to open in Himachal from 21st June with 50% capacity

State government has decided to open all the libraries in Himachal Pradesh to the general public with 50% seating capacity from June 21. In this regard, the State Directorate of Higher Education has issued instructions on Saturday. According to the Directorate of Education, it has been decided to open the library in view of the continuous demand of students preparing for various competitive examinations.
Compliance of covid rules will be ensured in the libraries. For this it will be necessary to make sanitization of libraries, seating arrangement with distance of two yards. Also, it will be mandatory for all the readers and staff to wear masks and sanitize their hands before entering the library premises. In this regard, the Director of Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Kumar Sharma has issued instructions.
