GNA University organized National Seminar on “Entrepreneurial Intention, Innovation, and Invention”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Design and Automation, GNA University organized a National Seminar on "Entrepreneurial Intention, Innovation, and Invention". Er. Amardev Singh from NITTTR, Chandigarh was the resource person for this National Seminar. The objective of this seminar was to raise awareness about Entrepreneurship Skills.
Er. Singh discussed various models of Entrepreneurship along with various seed money schemes. He also elaborated on how three things are connected: Desire, Ability, and Human Behaviour. He even showcased various prototypes and business ideas, and the ways to make them possible in reality. More than 200 students participated in this seminar.
Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Professor, and Dean-SEDA welcomed all the participants and experts of the Seminar. It was an interactive session where students actively interacted with the resource person and also saw various prototypes and learned steps to become a successful entrepreneur.
S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, of GNA University congratulated all the participants. He said, “I am elated that the students should focus on these skills as better to become job providers than job seekers.”
Dr.VKRattan, the Vice–Chancellor, of GNA University appreciated all the participants and encouraged them to take part in such events. Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean of Academics, GNA University interacted with participants and highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship skills.
Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor thanked the management for providing a platform of learning for the students and staff. He also thanked Dr. Anurag Sharma, Professor, Head CSE, and the organizers for organizing such a great event and ensured all participants that such events will be planned in the future also to promote entrepreneurship culture.
