PM Modi said, governments intervention should be minimal in NEP
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the conference of governors held in regards to the new education policy on Monday. A new education policy has been announced by the government in the past, which is still being studied. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address that the country's goals can be met only through education policy and system. The PM said that the government's interference in education policy should be minimum as it belongs to everyone .
On the new education policy, PM Modi said that suggestions from lakhs of people were taken for preparing this policy, including students, teachers and parents. Now a dialogue is to be held on the new education policy on how to implement it in the country, it is important because it is going to build the India of the 21st century.

The PM wrote in his tweet, 'On September 7 at 10:30 am I will be attending a conference with the President, Governors and Vice Chancellors of Universities on National Education Policy 2020 and its transformative impact. The salvation resulting from this conference will strengthen our efforts to make India a center of knowledge.
Apart from the President and Prime Minister, education ministers, officials, vice chancellors of universities and others too participated in the program.
PM said, “New education policy paves way for opening campus of best international institutions in India so that youth from common family can also join them”.
