Director General of Police Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Kundu said that there is no threat to the 48 villages of Himachal situated on the border with China. Last year there was an encounter between India and China army in Galwan Valley. Five IPS officers were sent to these border areas after Governors concern . DGP said this while talking to reporters in Paonta on Saturday.

He further said that the police are reaching to the roots of the drug mafia. During the last one year, in one and a half dozen cases of the state drug mafia assets worth 11.37 crore have been attached. During the Corona period, the State Police has done commendable work by serving day and night. Today, complaints against police behavior have come down from 16 per cent to 10 per cent.
