Dr. Rakshit Tandon a well-known cyber security evangelist with more than a decade of experience in the cyber security domain conducted a highly informative seminar on the need to be Cyber Safe at both the branches of Pinegrove School, Solan, and enlightened the staff and student body about the perils of the internet and how to stay safe in the virtual world.

The very serious issue of Cyber Crime was communicated to the students in a light-hearted humorous manner. The entire seminar was divided into two sessions, for class VI-VIII and IX-XII respectively. The students were encouraged and instructed on how to be safe in an unsafe digital world. Topics like cloud, digital footprint, gaming addiction, password protection, device management, and the like were emphasized. The students were made aware of the noble career of Ethical Hacking in addition to Cyber Volunteer work. Various important protective websites and links were shared. A lively Q&A round assisted doubt clarification. While being encompassed by the constantly expanding digital world, the information imparted was thoroughly relevant to the entire gathering.
