The Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni will be organizing a State Level Officers Workshop on Package of Practice for Vegetable crops on February 15.

Dr Ram Lal Markanda, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Tribal Development, Information and Technology will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr Parvinder Kaushal, UHF Vice-Chancellor will preside over the function. Besides senior officers and line officers of the agriculture department, scientists from CSK HPKV Palampur, IARI Regional Research Station, Katrain; CPRI Shimla; SAMETI, DMR Shimla and UHF will be taking part in the event.

During the event, the participants will discuss the latest research activities carried out by the university’ scientists for the production of various vegetable crops in the state. Based on the discussions, the recommendations will be included in the package of practice for the production of different vegetables for the benefit of the farmers’ of the state.
