Dagshai Public School conducts online Drawing, Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition
Lockdown across the country due to COVID-19 not only has adversely affected the normal life but also the overall growth of the students because of the closure of the schools over the last three months. Though the schools have engaged their teachers and students for their academic work through online classes students are still missing their schools for physical and other co-curricular activities. To revive the creativity among its students Dagshai Public School took an initiative to conduct an online Drawing, Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition to mark the occasion of “National Blood Donor Day”. Students showed an overwhelming response to the competition. More than a hundred entries were received with their creative ideas through drawings, posters and slogans. By utilizing the means of electronic media some students sent their slogans through voice messages to their respective class groups. The idea of the competition was conceived by Administrative Officer Mrs. Jaspal Kaur to encourage the creativity among the students even in the prevailing most unfavorable conditions and to create awareness about the importance of blood donation in the public through our young messengers. The attempt was highly appreciated by the parents. Executive Director S. Amarjit Singh and Dr. Jaspal Singh, Principal also appreciated the efforts of Admin Officer, teachers and parents to encourage the students to show their talents. Winning Drawing, posters and slogans will be awarded the certificates and prizes when the school will come into its proper functioning.
