CORONA VIRUS KNOCKED IN HIMACHAL :TWO CASES POSITIVE

The Corona virus which has caused awe in the world has also knocked in Himachal. So far untouched by the Corona virus, Himachal has received two positive cases on Friday. Both are residents of Kangra. They had been admitted to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College Tanda. The sample investigation report of both has come positive. The samples of both have now been sent to a lab in Pune for examination. According to the information, the 63-year-old victim woman returned from Dubai on 19 March, while the 32-year-old victim returned from Singapore on 18 March.
CMO Kangra Dr. Gurdarshan Gupta said that both the patients were admitted to the isolation ward set up at Tanda Medical College late in the evening. Initial investigations have found both reports of corona virus positive. Now the samples of both have been sent to a lab in Pune for examination.
People have been stirred up in Himachal for the first time with two cases. Now the health department is trying to find out how many people have come in contact with the two of them . They will also be brought under surveillance. The family of both has also been placed on observation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a video conference with Chief Ministers of all states across the country, including Himachal Pradesh, in the context of corona virus infection. Chief Minister Jairam Thakur gave information about Himachal's preparations and steps taken, while also expressing grief over two positive cases in the state. The Union Health Ministry suggested Himachal authorities to take more stringent measures.
The Chief Minister, while holding a video conference with all the Deputy Commissioners of the state, asked them to ensure that the Janata curfew will be successful on March 22 at the call of the Prime Minister. He also gave instructions to stop black marketing. The CM said that it is difficult to interfere in weddings but appealed that people shorten the event and postpone the Dham.
