Two months after the Indian government banned Tencent backed gaming app in the country, PUBG has terminated all services and access of users in India with effect from October 30. “To comply with the interim order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology dated September 2, 2020, Tencent Games will terminate all service and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite on October 30, 2020. The rights to publish PUBG MOBILE in India will be returned to the owner of the PUBG intellectual property,” PUBG Mobile said on its Facebook page. “Protecting user data has always been a top priority and we have always complied with applicable data protection laws and regulations in India,” the statement added. While PUBG was banned by the government on September 2 for any further downloads, the latest move implies that it won't b e accesible for users who already had the app installed in their phones and PCs.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid his last tributes to late Keshubhai Patel, former CM of Gujarat at the latter's Gandhinagar residence, on Friday. Keshubhai passed away on Thurday, after prolonged illness in a city hospital in Ahmedabad. Keshubhai Patel was Gujarat’s CM from March 1995 to October 1995 and from March 1998 to October 2001. He was succeeded as Chief Minister by Narendra Modi. Patel was a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly six times. He had quit the BJP in 2012 and floated the Gujarat Parivartan Party, which merged with the BJP in 2014. Tributes poured in for Keshubhai Patel from all quarters. PM Modi also expressed grief over the BJP stalwart’s death and said that he had lost a father figure.
India has achieved a significant milestone in its fight against COVID. The active caseload has fallen below 6 lakh for the first time in nearly three months (85 days). India has registered 5.94 lakh active cases today. The active caseload was 5.95 lakh on 6th August. Presently the active cases comprise only 7.35% of the total positive cases of the country standing at 5,94,386. This has strengthened its trend of steady decline. The trajectory of the active caseload across different States/UTs has been diverse indicating their efforts and gradual progress in their fight against the global pandemic. India has also sustained its high number of recoveries. The total recovered cases stand at 73,73,375. India continues to be the topmost country with maximum number of recovered cases globally. The difference between active cases and recovered cases is consistently increasing and stands at 6,778,989 today. 57,386 patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas the new confirmed cases are 48,648. The national Recovery Rate has progressed to 91.15%. 80% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs . Kerala has contributed the maximum with more than 8,000 to the single day recoveries followed by Maharashtra and Karnataka with more than 7,000 recoveries each. 48,648 new confirmed cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 78% of these are from 10 States and UTs. Kerala is still reporting a very high number of new cases with more than 7,000 cases followed by Maharashtra and Delhi with more than 5,000 cases each. 563 case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. Of these, 81% are concentrated in ten States/UTs. Maharashtra has reported the highest single day deaths (156 deaths) followed by West Bengal with 61 cases. India has performed remarkably on fulfilling WHO’s advise of 140 tests/day/ million population. In its Guidance Note on “Public Health Criteria to Adjust Public Health and Social Measures in the Context of COVID-19” WHO has advised this strategy for comprehensive surveillance for suspected cases. In another row of achievements, 35 States/UTs have exceeded the advised number of tests. The national average of tests per day per million population stands at 844. The figure for Delhi and Kerala has exceeded 3,000.
Three members of India’s governing Hindu nationalist party BJP were shot dead by unidentified assailants in Kashmir, late thursday night. This came two days after New Delhi enacted new land laws which the residents described as ‘land grab.’ Militants fired at the three members of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party, or BJP, in southern Kulgam district, police said in a statement. The three were taken to a hospital, where they died, it said. The BJP says they were members of the party’s youth wing and one was the general secretary of the wing’s Kulgam unit. In a tweet late on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the killing of his party members. “They were bright youngsters doing excellent work in [Kashmir],” he said. The BJP condemned the killings, calling them a “barbaric terror attack.” In a tweet the party said,“Those who are responsible for this will not be spared.” Government forces launched a search for the shooters, police said. Officials did not immediately reveal other details, and no rebel group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

"Our beloved and respected Keshubhai has passed away…I am deeply pained and saddened. He was an outstanding leader who cared for every section of society. His life was devoted to the progress of Gujarat and the empowerment of every Gujarati. Keshubhai traveled across the length and breadth of Gujarat to strengthen the Jana Sangh and BJP. He resisted the Emergency tooth and nail. Issues of farmer welfare were closest to his heart. Be it as MLA, MP, Minister or CM, he ensured many farmer-friendly measures were passed. Keshubhai mentored and groomed many younger Karyakartas including me. Everyone loved his affable nature. His demise is an irreparable loss. We are all grieving today. My thoughts are with his family and well-wishers. Spoke to his son Bharat and expressed condolences. Om Shanti."
भारत के विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्धमान को लेकर आज भी पकिस्तान द्वारा सियासत जारी है। पाकिस्तान के एक सांसद ने बुधवार को संसद में बोलते हुए दवा किया की भारत के हमले के डर से इमरान खान सरकार ने भारतीय वायुसेना के पायलट अभिनंदन वर्धमान को अचानक रिहा कर दिया था। पाकिस्तानी सांसद अयाज सादिक ने संसद में दावा किया, "मुझे याद महमूद शाह कुरैशी उस बैठक में मौजूद थे, जिसमें इमरान खान ने आने से इनकार कर दिया था। कुरैशी के पैर कांप रहे थे, माथे पर पसीना था। हमसे कुरैशी ने कहा, खुदा के वास्ता अब इसको वापस जाने दें, क्योंकि 9 बजे रात को हिंदुस्तान पाकिस्तान पर हमला कर रहा है।" अयाज ने कहा कि हिंदुस्तान हमला नहीं करने वाला था। सरकार को सिर्फ घुटने टेककर अभिनंदन को वापस भेजना था, जो उन्होंने किया। बता दें पिछली साल 27 फरवरी को विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्धमान ने पाकिस्तानी एफ-16 फाइटर जेट मार गिराया था, लेकिन इस दौरान उनका अपना विमान भी क्रैश हो गया था और वो पीओके में जा गिरे थे। जिसके बाद पाकिस्तानी सेना ने उन्हें अपने कब्ज़े में ले लिया था। जब भारत को आधिकारिक तौर पर पता चला तो बिना शर्त उन्हें वापस लौटने को कहा। भारत का सख्त रुख देखते हुए पाकिस्तान ने अभिनंदन वर्धमान को सही सलामत वापस भेज दिया था।
आज से बिहार चुनाव का आगाज़ हो गया है। पहले चरण में 71 विधानसभा सीटों पर मतदान हो रहा है। आंकड़ों के मुताबिक अब तक लगभग 18.31 फीसदी वोटिंग हो चुकी है। सुबह से ही पोलिंग बूथों पर लोगों की लम्बी कतारे लगी रहीं। हालांकि शुरुआत में ईवीएम और वीवीपैट मशीनों में दिक्कत आई पर बाद में वोटिंग ने रफ़्तार पकड़ ली। पहले चरण के लिए कुल 1066 उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं और 2.14 करोड़ से अधिक मतदाता वोट डाल रहे हैं। 71 विधानसभा सीटों पर मतदान इसमें 2.14 करोड़ से ज्याादा मतदाता 1066 प्रत्याशियों के भाग्य का फैसला कर रहे हैं। बिहार चुनाव के पहले चरण की 71 सीटों में से तेजस्वी यादव के नेतृत्व वाले महागठबंधन की ओर से आरजेडी 42 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ रही है जबकि उसके सहयोगी कांग्रेस 21 और सीपीआई माले 8 सीटों पर चुनावी मैदान में है। वहीं, नीतीश की अगुवाई वाले एनडीए की ओर से जेडीयू 35 सीटों पर चुनावी मैदान में उतरी है जबकि उसकी सहयोगी बीजेपी 29, जीतनराम मांझी की हिंदुस्तान आवाम मोर्चा 6 और वीआईपी एक सीट पर चुनाव लड़ रही है।
हिमाचल के मंडी की रहने वाली टीवी एक्ट्रेस मालवी मल्होत्रा पर जानलेवा हमला हुआ है। हमले के बाद मालवी मल्होत्रा का मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन धीरूभाई अंबानी अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। जानकारी के मुताबिक बीती रात मालवी मल्होत्रा के एक पुराने दोस्त ने ही उनपर जानलेवा हमला करते हुए चाकू से शरीर पर किए तीन वार हैं। आशंका लगाई जा रही है की एक तरफ़ा प्यार में व्यक्ति ने एक्ट्रेस पर हमला किया है, हालांकि असली वजह जांच के बाद ही सामने आएगी। इस मामले को लेकर मुबई के वर्सोवा पुलिस थाने में शिकायत दर्ज की गई है। फिलहाल इलाज के बाद अब अभिनेत्री की हालत खतरे से बाहर बताई जा रही है।
जम्मू कश्मीर के पुलवामा के ट्राला में सुरक्षाबलों ने एक आतंकी को ढेर किया है। वहीँ एक अन्य आतंकी ने सुरक्षाबलों के सामने आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। जानकारी के मुताबिक सुरक्षाबलों ने जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस की ओर से मुहैया कराई गई सूचना के आधार पर जिले के अवंतीपोरा क्षेत्र के नूरपोरा में एक संयुक्त अभियान शुरू किया था। इस मुठभेड़ के दौरान एक आतंकवादी मारा गया जबकि एक आतंकवादी ने अपील पर आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। बता दें पुलवामा के गुलशनपुरा के रहने वाला आतंकी इस साल 25 सितम्बर से फरार था। उसने कल सुरक्षाबलों के सामने आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। उसने लाइव एनकाउंटर के समय माँ-बाप की मौजूदगी में सरेंडर किया। उसके पास एक एके 47 राइफल भी बरामद की गई है। मारे गए आतंकी की अभी पहचान नहीं हो पाई है।
एलएसी पर चीन के साथ तनातनी के बीच भारत और अमेरिका के बीच मंगलवार को एक अहम रक्षा समझौते होने जा रहे हैं। इस समझौते के तहत दोनों देश रक्षा उद्देश्यों के लिए एक दूसरे के उपग्रहों के आंकड़ों एवं नक्शों की सूचनाएं साझा कर सकेंगे। 2016 में अमेरिका के साथ हुए लिमोआ समझौते के बाद इसे दूसरा बड़ा अहम समझौता माना जा रहा है। टू प्लस टू यात्रा के लिए भारत आए अमेरिका के रक्षा मंत्री मार्क टी.एस्पर ने सोमवार को रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह से मुलाकात की। दोनों नेताओं ने यात्रा के दौरान रक्षा सहयोग बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ बेसिक एक्सचेंज एंड कोआपरेशन एग्रीमेंट (बेका) पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाने पर भी संतुष्टि व्यक्त की। रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा दी गई इस जानकारी के बाद इस बहुप्रतीक्षित समझौते पर मंगलवार को हस्ताक्षर होने का रास्ता साफ माना जा रहा है।
2020 के शुरुआती महीनों में बंद रहने के बाद ट्रेनों का परिचालन एक बार फिर से शुरू हो गया है, लेकिन अभी यह सीमित रूटों पर सीमित स्टेशनों के लिए ही है। इस बीच भारत में त्योहारों का मौसम का भी आगाज़ हो गया है। रेलवे ने त्योहारी सीजन में बढ़ी टिकट की डिमांड को देखते हुए 46 स्पेशल ट्रेनों को चलाने का ऐलान किया है। रेलवे ने कई स्पेशल ट्रेन चलाने का ऐलान किया है। यह सभी ट्रेना यूपी और बिहार के अलग-अलग जिलों में जाएगी ऐसे में त्यौहार पर घर जाने की उम्मीद लगाए बैेठे लोगों का काफी राहत मिलेगी।

Modi launched the Kisan Suryodaya Yojana for providing 16 hours of power supply to farmers. He also inaugurated the Paediatric Heart Hospital attached with U.N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre and a Mobile Application for telecardiology at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Ropeway at Girnar on the occasion. Speaking on Kisan Suryodaya Yojana the Prime Minister said, earlier most of the farmers got power for irrigation in the night only and had to wake up all night. In Girnar and Junagadh the farmers also face the problems of wild animals. Under the Kisan Suryodaya, Yojana farmers will get 3 phase power supply from 5 AM to 9 PM and will bring a new dawn in their lives. The Prime Minister also lauded the efforts of the Gujarat government for doing this work by preparing a completely new capacity of transmission, without affecting the other existing systems. Under this scheme, about 3500 circuit kilometers of new transmission lines will be laid in the next 2-3 years and will be implemented in more than a thousand villages in the coming days and most of these villages are in tribal-dominated areas. Kisan Suryodaya Yojana To provide a day-time power supply for irrigation, the Gujarat Government under Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani had recently announced the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’. Under this scheme, farmers will be able to avail of power supply from 5 AM to 9 PM. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs.3500 crore for installing transmission infrastructure under this scheme by 2023. 234 ‘66-Kilowatt’ transmission lines, with a total length of 3490 circuit kilometers (CKM) will be established under the project, in addition to 220 KV substations. Dahod, Patan, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur, Kheda, Tapi, Valsad, Anand, and Gir-Somnath have been included under the Scheme for 2020-21. The remaining districts will be covered in a phase-wise manner by 2022-23. The U.N Mehta Institute will now become India’s biggest hospital for cardiology in addition to being one of the select few hospitals in the world with a world-class medical infrastructure and medical facilities. The Institute is undergoing expansion at the cost of Rs. 470 crores. The number of beds will increase from 450 to 1251 after the completion of the expansion project. The Institute will also become the biggest single super-specialty cardiac teaching institute in the country and one of the biggest single super-specialty cardiac hospitals in the world. The building is equipped with safety precautions like earthquake-proof construction, fire fighting hydrant system, and fire mist system. The research center will house India’s first Advanced Cardiac ICU on Wheels with O.T., which is equipped with ventilators, IABP, hemodialysis, ECMO, etc. 14 operation centers and 7 cardiac catheterization labs will also be started at the institute. Girnar Ropeway Gujarat will once again be highlighted on the global tourism map with the inauguration of the Ropeway at Girnar on 24th October 2020. Initially, there will be 25-30 cabins, with a capacity of 8 people per cabin. A distance of 2.3 km will now be covered in just 7.5 minutes through the ropeway. In addition to this, the ropeway will also provide a scenic view of the lush green beauty surrounding the Girnar mountain.
जम्मू-कश्मीर के केरन सेक्टर में भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तान का एक क्वॉडकॉप्टर मार गिराया है। बता दें सुबह करीब 8 बजे पाकिस्तान का एक ड्रोन LOC पर मंडराता हुआ दिखा। यह क्वॉडकॉप्टर LOC से 70 मीटर भारत की तरफ केरन में गिरा। शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह पाकिस्तानी क्वॉडकॉप्टर चीनी कंपनी डीजेआई ने बनाया था। इसका मॉडल मैपिक 2 प्रो बताया जा रहा है। सीमा पार से हथियारों और गोला-बारूद को ड्रोन के जरिए गिराना एक नया तरीका है, जिसके जरिए सीमा पार से आतंकवादियों के हैंडलर्स उनके लिए ये सामान भेज रहे हैं। जानकारी के अनुसार एलओसी पर भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तानी सेना के कॉडकॉप्टर को मार गिराया है। पाकिस्तान द्वारा सर्विलांस और आतंकियों को हथियार पहुंचाने के लिए अनमैन्ड एरियल वीकल्स (UAVs) का इस्तेमाल शुरू किया गया है। पाकिस्तान सीमापार से लगातार ड्रोन की मदद से हथियारों को जम्मू-कश्मीर में भेज रहा है। हाल ही में ऐसी घटनाओं में तेजी आई है। पिछले महीने पुलिस को अखनून के एक गांव में असॉल्ट राइफलें और पिस्तौल मिली थीं। ये हथियार पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन द्वारा गिराए गए थे जिसके बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस ने अखनूर क्षेत्र के गांव से दो AK असॉल्ट राइफलें, एक पिस्तौल, तीन AK मैगजीन और 90 राउंड बरामद किए।
बिहार चुनावों को लेकर RJD ने अपना घोषणा पत्र जारी कर दिया है। इसे पार्टी ने 'प्रण हमारा संकल्प बदलाव का' नाम दिया है। पटना में तेजस्वी यादव, मनोज झा समेत पार्टी के कई वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने घोषणा पत्र जारी किया। घोषणा पत्र में आरजेडी ने बिहार के बेरोजगार युवाओं को 10 लाख नौकरी देने का वादा, किसानो को कर्ज माफ़ी, युवाओं को 1500 रुपये बेरोजगारी भत्ता जैसे कई बड़े वाडे किए हैं। मुख्यतौर पर घोषणा पत्र में रोजगार, कृषि, उद्योग और शिक्षा को जगह दी गई है। ये हैं घोषणाएं बिहार के बेरोजगार युवाओं को 10 लाख नौकरी देने का वादा। कैबिनेट की पहली बैठक के साथ शुरू होगी बहाली की प्रक्रिया। संविदा प्रथा खत्म करना, सभी को समान काम का समान वेतन दिया जाएगा। सरकारी विभागों में निजीकरण को बंद किया जाएगा। नियोजित शिक्षकों को समान वेतनमान। कार्यपालक सहायक लाइब्रेरियन उर्दू शिक्षकों की बहाली की जाएगी। बिहारी युवाओं को सरकारी परीक्षा फॉर्म भरने के लिए आवेदन शुल्क नहीं देना होगा और परीक्षा केंद्र तक की यात्रा मुफ़्त होगी। आंगनबाड़ी सेविका सहायिका, आशा कर्मी, ग्रामीण चिकित्सक की मांगे पूरी की जाएंगी। किसानों का कर्ज़ माफ़ किया जाएगा। नई उदार उद्योग नीति लाई जाएगी। व्यवसायिक आयोग का गठन किया जाएगा। कारोबारियों की सुरक्षा और भय मुक्त व्यापार के लिए औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में व्यापारिक सुरक्षा दस्ते का गठन किया जाएगा। राज्य के जीडीप का 22 प्रतिशत हिस्सा शिक्षा पर खर्च किया जाएगा। सभी सरकारी और गैर सरकारी स्कूलों में मातृभाषा के साथ अंग्रेज़ी और कंप्यूटर की पढ़ाई अनिवार्य की जाएगी। पिछड़े और दलित छात्रों को इंटरमीडिएट में 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक अंक लाने पर लैपटॉप दिया जाएगा। सभी सरकारी स्कूलों में छात्रों के लिए अलग से शौचालय की व्यवस्था, स्कूली छात्राओं को सेनेटरी नैपकिन निशुल्क दी जाएगी। राज्य में किसी भी सरकारी नौकरी में स्थानीय नीति लागू की जाएगी। कम से कम 85 प्रतिशत आरक्षण स्थानीय अभ्यर्थियों के लिए सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा। बेरोजगार युवाओं को 1500 रुपये बेरोजगारी भत्ता दिया जाएगा। गरीबों और बुज़ुर्गों की पेंशन 400 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 1000 रुपये प्रति माह कर दी जाएगी। घोषणापत्र ज़ारी करते हुए तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा, ''मैं 10 लाख नौकरियों का वादा कर रहा हूं। मैं एक करोड़ नौकरियों का वादा भी कर सकता था। लेकिन, मैं ऐसा नहीं कर रहा हूं क्योंकि हमारा वादा पहली कैबिनेट बैठक में सच्चाई बनेगा। देश में ऐसा पहली बार होगा जब एक ही बार में 10 लाख नौकरियों का सजृन होगा।'' वहीँ उन्होंने भाजपा द्वारा 19 लाख नौकरियों के वादे पर निशाना भी साधा। उन्होंने कहा, ''भाजपा वाले बताएं कि उनका मुख्यमंत्री का चेहरा कौन है, नीतीश कुमार हैं? नीतीश कुमार ने तो 10 लाख नौकरियों पर ही हाथ खड़े कर दिए थे कि कहां से देंगे। तो बीजेपी कहां से देगी, नेतृत्व तो नीतीश कुमार कर रहे हैं, तो ये बेवकूफ किसे बना रहे हैं।''
India continues to report a trend of steadily declining active cases. The active cases are less than 7 lakh for the second consecutive day and stand at 6,80,680. The active cases now comprise only 8.71% of the total positive cases of the country. The active cases are on a continuous decline on a daily basis. This is a result of the successful TEST, TREAT, and TRACK strategy of the Union Government implemented by the States/UTs. The change in the active cases across the States and UTs has been varied, indicating different stages in their fight against the global pandemic. There has been a progressive dip in the day-on-day active cases during the past few weeks. The declining trend of the active cases is complemented by the unbroken rising number of recovered cases. The total recovered cases have crossed the 70 lakh mark and stand at 70,16,046. The national Recovery Rate has further improved to 89.78%. 61% of the Total Recovered Cases are from 6 States/UT viz. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. New recoveries have exceeded new cases in recent days. 67,549 COVID patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas the new confirmed cases stand at 53,370. 77% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs. Maharashtra has contributed the maximum with more than 13,000 single day recovery. 53,370 new confirmed cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 80% of the new cases are from 10 States and UTs. Kerala is reporting the maximum addition with more than 8,000 cases followed by Maharashtra with more than 7,000 cases. 650 case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. Of these, ten States/UTs account for nearly 80%. Maharashtra has reported a maximum of 184 deaths
India has leaped across a significant milestone in its fight against COVID. The active caseload of the country has fallen below 7 lakh for the first time after two months (63 days). The active caseload was below the 7 lakh mark (6,97,330) last on 22nd August. The total positive cases of the country today are 6,95,509. They comprise merely 8.96% of the total cases. With a high number of COVID patients recovering every day along with a steadily falling and sustained low mortality rate, India’s trend of registering decreasing active cases continues. India is also reporting a high number of recoveries. The total recovered cases are nearly 70 lakhs (69,48,497). The difference between active cases and recovered cases is also consistently increasing and stands at 62,52,988 today. The recovered cases are nearly 10 times more than the active cases. 73,979 patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas the new confirmed cases are 54,366. The national Recovery Rate has further progressed to 89.53%. Enhanced countrywide medical infrastructure, implementation of the Centre’s Standard Treatment Protocol by the States/UTs, and total dedication & commitment of doctors, paramedics, and frontline workers have led to a persistent increase in the number of total recoveries with a commensurate dip in the fatality rate. Today it stands at 1.51%. These have together resulted in consistent slide inactive cases. 24 States/UTs have less than 20,000 Active Cases. 81% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs. Maharashtra has contributed more than 16,000 to the single-day recoveries followed by Karnataka with more than 13,000 recoveries. 54,366 new confirmed cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 78% of these are from 10 States and UTs. Maharashtra and Kerala contribute maximum to the new cases with more than 7,000 cases followed by Karnataka with more than 5,000 cases. 690 case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. Of these, nearly 81% are concentrated in ten States/UTs. Maharashtra has reported the maximum single-day deaths (198 deaths).
India has demonstrated an exponential increase in the number of COVID-19 cumulative tests since Jan 2020. It has crossed the landmark of 10 crore (10,01,13,085) total tests today. In another achievement, 14,42,722 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The country’s testing capacities have multiplied manifold with nearly 2000 labs across the country and with collaborative efforts of the Centre and State/UT governments. More than 15 lakh samples can be tested every day. Progressive countrywide expansion in testing infrastructure has played a crucial role in the steep rise of testing numbers. With 1989 testing labs in the country including 1122 Government laboratories and 867 Private laboratories, the daily testing capacity has got a substantial boost. A high level of comprehensive testing on a sustained basis has also resulted in bringing down the national positivity rate. This indicates that the rate of spread of infection is being effectively contained. The cumulative rate continues to decline as total tests cross 10 crores. The national positivity rate is 7.75% today. This is a result of successful TEST, TRACK, TRACE, TREAT and TECHNOLOGY strategy of the Central government effectively followed by States/UTs. Higher testing across wide regions has resulted in early identification of positive cases, prompt tracking through efficient surveillance and tracing, and timely & effective treatment in homes/facilities and in hospitals for severe cases. These measures in tandem eventually lead to a lower mortality rate. The last 1 crore tests were conducted in 9 days. 15 States and UTs are exhibiting a higher Positivity Rate compared to the national figure, indicating the need for higher levels of comprehensive testing in these regions.
US President Donald Trump on Thursday described the air in India as “filthy” and shifts the climate change blame to India along with China and Russia. Trump’s remarks come at a time when he was explaining his move to withdraw from the Paris climate accord. He had said that the move would have made America a non-competitive nation. "Look at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia. Look at India. The air is filthy. I walked out of the Paris Accord as we had to take out trillions of dollars and we were treated very unfairly," he said during the second and final debate ahead of the November 3 US polls. This is the second time that Trump has made a critical reference to India during a debate. In the past, the US president had mockingly called India “tariff king” during trade talks and underplayed its Covid-19 testing record to make his administration’s response look better in the face of mounting criticism of its handling of the worst public health crisis in more than 100 years. Trump’s remark drew sharp reactions in India with opposition’s tweets criticizing his remark and asking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respond.
Final user trial of 3rd generation Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) NAG was carried out today from the Pokhran range. The missile was integrated with the actual warhead and a tank target was kept at a designated range. This was launched from NAG Missile Carrier NAMICA. The missile hit the target accurately defeating the armor. ATGM NAG has been developed by DRDO to engage highly fortified enemy tanks in day and night conditions. The missile has “Fire & Forget” “Top Attack” capabilities with passive homing guidance to defeat all MBTs equipped with composite and reactive armor. The NAG missile carrier NAMICA is a BMP II-based system with amphibious capability. With this final user trial, NAG will enter into the production phase. The missile will be produced by Defence PSU Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), whereas Ordnance Factory Medak will produce the NAMICA. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and the Indian Army for the successful trial of the NAG Missile. Secretary DDR&D & Chairman DRDO, Dr. G Satheesh Reddy appreciated the efforts of DRDO, the Indian Army and Industry in bringing the missile up to the production phase.

India has sustained its trend of maintaining the active cases below the 7.5 lakh mark for the 2nd successive day. With a high number of COVID patients recovering every day, India’s steady trend of posting a high level of daily recoveries also continues. 61,775 recoveries have been registered in the last 24 hours in the country whereas the new confirmed cases are only 54,044. This is when 10,83,608 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Successful implementation of TEST, TRACK and TREAT strategy along with timely and appropriate treatment has led to the consistent slide in the Fatality Rate. The national Case Fatality Rate (CFR) has fallen to 1.51% today. The Centre has advised States/UTs to aim at bringing down the CFR to below 1%. Presently 14 States/UTs are reporting Case Fatality Rate less than 1%. India’s total recoveries stand at 67,95,103 today. A higher number of single-day recoveries has resulted in a continuous increase in the national recovery rate, which is fast approaching 89% (88.81%). 77% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs. Karnataka outnumbered Maharashtra in new recovered cases with more than 8,500 new recoveries. Maharashtra and Kerala both contribute more than 7,000 to the new recoveries. 54,044 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours in the country. 78% of these are concentrated in ten States/UT. Maharashtra contributed more than 8,000 to the new cases. Karnataka and Kerala, both contributed more than 6,000. 717 deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours. 82% of new deaths are reported from 10 States and UTs. 29% of deaths reported yesterday are from Maharashtra with 213 deaths followed by Karnataka with 66 deaths.
उत्तर प्रदेश में एक बार फिर कथित लव जिहाद के मामले को लेकर बवाल खड़ा हुआ है। इस मामले को लेकर भाजपा और विहिप कार्यकर्ताओं ने प्रदर्शन किया और लड़के की गिरफ़्तारी की मांग की। मंगलवार को कार्यकर्ताओं ने किला थाने पहुंचकर जमकर हंगामा किया। पुलिस द्वारा आश्वासन के बाद भी कार्यकर्ता नहीं माने। आरोप है कि इस दौरान नारेबाजी करते हुए लोगों ने तोड़फोड़ शुरू कर दी। हालत इतने बेकाबू हो गए की पुलिस को लाठीचार्ज तक करना पड़ा। इससे कई लोग घायल हुए पर कार्यकर्ता अपनी मांग पर अडिग हैं और थाने पर डेट हुए हैं। इस मामले में लापरवाही और लाठीचार्ज होने के बाद चौकी इंचार्ज समेत कुछ सिपाहियों को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। विहिप और अन्य संगठनों का आरोप है कि आरोपी लड़के ने लड़की के साथ जबरदस्ती की है और धोखा देकर उसे ले जाया गया है। सोशल मीडिया पर ऐसी कई तस्वीरें हैं जो ये साबित करती हैं कि ये मामला लव जेहाद का हो सकता है। ये है पूरा मामला बता दें बरेली में 17 अक्टूबर को गायब हुई एक लड़की के परिवार वालों का आरोप है की दूसरे समुदाय के लड़के ने जबरन उससे शादी कर ली है। इस मामले को लेकर भाजपा और विहिप के कार्यकर्ताओं ने पुलिस थाने में पहुंचकर हंगामा किया और लड़के को जल्द गिरफ्तार करने की मांग की। हालांकि, परिवारवालों द्वारा दिए गए बयान के बाद एक वीडियो सामने आया जिसमें एक लड़की कहती दिख रही है की वो अपनी मर्ज़ी से आई है, ऐसे में इसमें कोई जोर जबरदस्ती नहीं है। दूसरी ओर लड़की के पिता ने आरोप लगाया है कि मेरी लड़की 8 लाख रुपये और सोने की चेन ले गई है, ऐसे में मुझे डर है कि ये उसकी हत्या न कर दें।

The new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours have fallen below 50,000 (46,790) for the first time in nearly three months. The new cases were 47,703 on 28th July. With a high number of COVID patients recovering every day and the sustained fall in the mortality rate, India’s steady trend of registering dipping active cases continues. In another achievement, the percentage of active cases have fallen below 10%. The total positive cases of the country today are less than 7.5 lakh (7,48,538) and comprise merely 9.85% of the total cases. This is the result of collaborative, focussed and effective action by States/UTs under the Centre's strategy of comprehensive and high countrywide testing, prompt and effective surveillance and tracking, quick hospitalization and effective adherence of the Standard Treatment Protocol issued by the Union Government. This success also owes to the selfless service and dedication of doctors, paramedics, frontline workers and all other COVID-19 warriors across all parts of the country. The slide inactive cases are supplemented by an exponential rise in recoveries. The total recovered cases have crossed 67 lakhs (67,33,328). The difference between active cases and recovered cases is consistently increasing and stands at 59,84,790 today. 69,720 patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours. The national Recovery Rate has further grown to 88.63%. 78% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs. Maharashtra continues to lead with more than 15,000 single day recoveries followed by Karnataka with more than 8,000 recoveries. 75% of the new confirmed cases are from 10 States and UTs. Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala contribute more than 5,000 to the new confirmed cases. 587 case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. दिल्ली की केजरीवाल सरकार ने एचआरटीसी की बसों को दिल्ली में नो एंट्री कर दी है। दिल्ली सरकार ने कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों और प्रदूषण की दलील देकर एचआरटीसी के प्रस्ताव को ख़ारिज कर दिया है। बता दें एचआरटीसी ने हल ही में इंटरस्टेट बस सेवा शुरू की, पंजाब, हरियाणा और उत्तराखंड के बाद एचआरटीसी ने दिल्ली सरकार से भी अनुमति मांगी थी। पर फ़िलहाल दिल्ली सरकार ने प्रस्ताव ख़ारिज कर दिया है। मौजूदा समय में दिल्ली के लिए बस सेवा शुरू करने की लोगों की भारी मांग है। लिहाजा, एचआरटीसी दिल्ली सरकार को दोबारा प्रस्ताव भेजेगा। एचआरटीसी के कार्यकारी निदेशक अनुपम कश्यप ने बताया कि दिल्ली के लिए बस सेवा शुरू करने की सभी तैयारियां कर रखी हैं। जैसे ही दिल्ली सरकार मंजूरी देती है, तुरंत प्रदेश के अलग-अलग जिलों से दिल्ली के लिए सीधी बस सेवा शुरू कर दी जाएगी।
इस बार बिहार में स्वतंत्र एवं निष्पक्ष चुनाव करवाने का जिम्मा तेजतर्रार महिला आइपीएस अधिकारी सौम्या सांबशिवन ने उठाया है। सौम्या तृतीय भारतीय आरक्षित वाहिनी पंडोह की कमांडेंट हैं व उन्हें राज्य कमांडर का दर्जा दिया गया है। सौम्या के नेतृत्व में पंडोह, बनगढ़ (ऊना) व कोलर (सिरमौर) वाहिनी की छह कंपनियां यानी 600 जवान मंगलवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के सहारनपुर से बिहार के लिए ट्रेन से रवाना होंगे। वह 600 जवानों का नेतृत्व करने वाली अकेली महिला अधिकारी होंगी। तीनों वाहिनी से बिहार चुनाव के लिए दो-दो कंपनियां जा रही हैं। हर कंपनी से एक-एक डीएसपी रैंक का अधिकारी भी साथ रहेगा। बिहार में चुनावों के पहले चरण के लिए 28 अक्टूबर को मतदान होगा। इसके चलते चुनाव में ड्यूटी पर जाने वाले सभी जवानों व अधिकारियों की कोरोना जांच करवाई गई है। तीनों वाहिनी के चुनाव इससे पहले भी विधानसभा व लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान ड्यूटी दे चुके हैं।

The cumulative Positivity Rate is 7.94% now and is on a continuous decline. This has been brought about by a high level of comprehensive country-wide testing. The total tests have crossed 9.5 crores today. As evidence has revealed, higher numbers of testing on a sustained basis have aided in bringing down the positivity rate. The decline in the cumulative positivity rate has demonstrated that the rate of spread of infection is being effectively contained. Higher testing across wide regions leads to early identification of positive cases, prompt tracking through efficient surveillance and tracing, and timely & effective treatment in homes/facilities and in hospitals for severe cases. These measures in tandem eventually lead to a lower mortality rate. The average Daily Positivity Rate is 6.13% for the third week of October. This is a result of successful TEST, TRACK, TRACE, TREAT and TECHNOLOGY strategy of the Central government effectively followed by States/UTs. India continues to report a trend of steadily declining active cases. For the third day after the active cases dropped below the 8 lakh mark after a month and a half, the progressive decline continues. India's active caseload stands at 7,72,055 today. Presently the active cases comprise merely 10.23% of the total positive cases of the country. The total recovered cases are more than 66 Lakhs (66,63,608) thereby enhancing the difference with respect to the active cases. 66,399 patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas the new confirmed cases stand at 55,722. The national Recovery Rate has progressed to 88.26%. 79% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs viz. Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. Maharashtra alone has contributed the maximum with more than 11,000 single day recovery followed by Kerala and Karnataka with more than 8,000 recoveries each. 55,722 new confirmed cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 81% of the new cases are from 10 States and UTs. Maharashtra continues to be the State reporting a very high number of new cases with more than 9,000 cases followed by Kerala and Karnataka with more than 7,000 cases each. 579 case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. After 90 days, the daily deaths recorded are below 600. Of these, nearly 83% are concentrated in ten State/UTs. More than 25% of new fatalities reported are from Maharashtra (150 deaths).

Of these, nearly 82% are concentrated in ten States/UTs. Maharashtra has reported the maximum single-day deaths (306 deaths). The Centre continues to support the State and UT Governments in the collective fight against the global pandemic. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has deputed high-level Central teams to Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. These States have been reporting a surge in the number of new COVID cases in recent days. The teams will support the State efforts towards strengthening containment, surveillance, testing, infection prevention and control measures, and efficient clinical management of the positive cases. The Central teams shall also guide in effectively managing the challenges related to timely diagnosis and follow up.
हिंदी सिनेमा के फैन्स का महीनो का लम्बा इंतज़ार ख़तम हुआ है। काल यानि 15 अक्टूबर से देश भर में सिनेमा हॉल्स खुलने वाले हैं। अब लोगों को फिर से सिनेमाहॉल जाकर अपनी मनपसंद सितारों को बड़े परदे पर देखने का मौका मिलेगा। इसको लेकर मूवी लवर्स काफी एक्साइटेड भी नज़र आ रहे हैं। थियेटर्स में इस साल रिलीज हो चुकी कई मूवीज को री-रिलीज करने का फैसला लिया गया है। ट्रेड एनालिस्ट तरण आदर्श ने ट्वीट करते हुए रे-रिलीज़ होने वाली फिल्मों के बार में जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने ट्वीट कर लिखा "इस हफ्ते से जैसा कि सिनेमाहॉल फिर से खुलने वाले हैं। 6 हिंदी फिल्में इस हफ्ते री-रिलीज के लिए अनाउंस की गई हैं। इनमें तानाजी, वॉर, शुभ मंगल ज्यादा सावधान, मलंग, थप्पड़ और केदारनाथ शामिल हैं। आने वाले दिनों में कई और फिल्में शेड्यूल की जाएंगी।" इसके अलावा सिनेमाहॉल खुलने के बाद अब कई बड़ी फिल्में पाइपलाइन में हैं। इनमें 83 और सूर्यवंशी बड़ी रिलीज हैं। सूर्यवंशी दिवाली पर और 83 क्रिसमस पर रिलीज हो रही है।
हाथरस गैंगरेप मामले को लेकर अब CBI एक्शन मोड में आ गई है। बता दें सोमवार को इस मामले को लेकर इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच सुनवाई हुई, जिसमे पीड़ित परिवार ने कोर्ट के सामने अपना पक्ष रखा। वहीं अब आज सीबीआई पीड़िता के गांव पहुंच गई है। CBI की टीम में फॉरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट्स भी हैं। टीम घटना स्थल पर पहुंचकर सुबूत इक्कठा करने के काम में जुट गई है। स्थानीय पुलिस स्टेशन से केस से जुड़े कागजात इकट्ठे किए जा चुके हैं। बता दें कि अभी इस मामले में प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा गठित एसआईटी की पूछताछ भी चल रही है, जिसे दस दिन का एक्सटेंशन मिला था। सोमवार को हुई सुनवाई सोमवार हाई कोर्ट में हुई सुनवाई के दौरान पीड़ित परिवार ने अपना बयान दर्ज करवाया। इस दौरान परिवार ने स्थानीय प्रशासन पर भी आरोप लगाए। उन्होंने कहा की बिना उनकी सहमति के जल्दबाजी में पीड़िता का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। पीड़िता के परिवार की वकील सीमा कुशवाहा के मुताबिक, अदालत ने इस दौरान सरकार के प्रतिनिधियों से सख्त सवाल पूछे जिनका उनके पास कोई जवाब नहीं था। हाई कोर्ट ने जल्दबाजी में अंतिम संस्कार करने, अंतिम संस्कार करने के तरीके और परिवार से अनुमति न लेने पर प्रशासन को फटकार लगाई। परिवार की ओर से जो आरोप लगाए गए हैं, उनपर अब दो नवंबर से बहस शुरू होगी। दूसरी ओर 15 अक्टूबर को इस मसले पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में भी सुनवाई होनी है, जहां यूपी सरकार की ओर से परिवार की सुरक्षा के बारे में जानकारी दी जाएगी।
मंगलवार को देश भर में कोरोना का कहर कुछ काम दिखा। आज रोज़ाना के मुकाबले कम लोग संक्रमित पाए गए। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक पिछले 24 घंटों में देश भर में 55,342 नए मरीज मिले वहीं 706 लोगों ने अपनी जान गवाई। अब देश भर में कोरोना के कुल मामलो की संख्या 71,75,881 हो गई है। देश भर में अब 8,38,729 कुल एक्टिव केस रह गए हैं जबकि 62,27,296 मरीज़ ठीक हो चुके हैं या उन्हें अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल गई है या वे देश छोड़कर चले गए हैं। वहीं कोरोना से जान गंवाने वालों की संख्या 1,09,856 पर पहुंच गई है। देश में रोजाना सामने आने वाले मामलों में कमी देखी जा रही है। रविवार को कोरोना के 74,383 मामले, सोमवार को 66,732 और मंगलवार को 55342 दर्ज किए गए। वहीं मृतकों की संख्या में भी कमी आ रही है। रविवार को कोविड-19 के कारण 918, सोमवार को 816 और मंगलवार को 706 मरीजों की मौत हुई है। इसके अलावा देश में संक्रमित लोगों के स्वस्थ होने की दर 86.17 प्रतिशत हो गई है।
यूपी के गोंडा से मानवता को शर्मसार करने वाली एक घटना सामने आई है। बीती रात गोंडा में तीन दलित बहनों पर एसिड फेंका गया है। जानकारी के मुताबिक घटना के समय तीनों बहने घर में सोईं हुई थी। तीनों बहनें नाबालिक हैं और उनका इलाज स्थानीय अस्पताल में चल रहा है। तीन में से दो बहनो को मामूली चोटें आईं हैं जबकि एक बहन के चेहरे पर एसिड गिरने से उसकी हालत नाजुक बनी हुई है। हालांकि, एसिड फेंकने का कारण अज्ञात है।
Heralding in a new era in the connectivity of roads and bridges in sensitive areas close to Western, Northern and North Eastern Borders, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh today dedicated 44 major permanent bridges to the Nation. He also laid the Foundation Stone for Nechiphu Tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh. These bridges are of strategic importance and provide connectivity to remote areas. The 44 bridges are spread over seven states/union territories. The dedication ceremony was conducted through a Video Conference in the presence of Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff, Gen MM Naravane and Defence Secretary, Sh Ajay Kumar at New Delhi. Union Minister, Shri Kiren Rijiju, Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Sikkim & Uttarakhand, Lt Governor of J&K, with Hon’ble Members of Parliament, civil/military dignitaries along with members of the public at various sites in respective States/ Union Territories attended through a video link. In his address, Raksha Mantri congratulated DG and all ranks of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for their achievements and said that the dedication of 44 bridges in one go in itself was a record. Shri Rajnath Singh said in the challenging times of COVID-19 and despite the border tensions and disputes caused by Pakistan and China, the country was not only resolutely facing them but also bringing about historical changes in all sectors of development under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Lauding the BRO for its role in improving the border infrastructure, Shri Rajnath Singh these bridges improved connectivity in the far-flung areas of Western, Northern and North East sectors and fulfilled the aspirations of local people. They would also meet the transport and logistics requirements of the armed forces throughout the year, he added. Raksha mantra also announced that the government has sanctioned high altitude clothing to BRO engineers and workers. Rajnath Singh also laid the Foundation Stone of the strategically important Nechiphu Tunnel on the road to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. This 450 meters long, bi-lane tunnel would ensure all weather connectivity across Nechiphu Pass besides providing safe and secure passage through accident-prone areas.
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi released a commemorative coin of Rs. 100 denomination to celebrate the Birth Centenary of Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia through video conference. He also paid tributes to Rajmata on her birth anniversary. The Prime Minister said he is fortunate to have got the opportunity to release a special commemorative coin of 100 rupees in honor of Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Ji. Referring to Vijayaraje ji's book, the Prime Minister said in the book, he was introduced as a youth leader of Gujarat, and today after so many years, he is serving as the Pradhan Sevak of the country. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia was one of those who led India in the right direction. She was a decisive leader and a skilled administrator. He added that she witnessed every important phase of Indian politics be it the burning of foreign clothes, the Emergency and the Ram Temple movement. He stressed that it is important for the present generation to know about Rajmata's life and therefore, it is necessary to repeatedly mention her and her experiences. The Prime Minister said Rajmata has taught us that for public service, it is not necessary to be born in a particular family. All that is needed is love for the nation and a democratic temperament. These thoughts, these ideals can be seen in her life. Rajmata had thousands of employees, a magnificent palace, and had all the facilities but she dedicated her life to the cause of common people, for the aspirations of the poor. She was always connected and committed to Public service. He said Rajmata had dedicated herself to the future of the nation. She had sacrificed all her happiness for the future generations of the country. Rajmata did not live for the position and prestige, nor did she do politics. He recalled a few occasions when Rajmata turned down many positions with humility. He said Atal Ji and Advani Ji once urged her to become the president of the Jana Sangh but she accepted to serve the Jana Sangh as an activist rather. The Prime Minister said Rajmata loved to recognize her companions by name, and this feeling towards a worker should be in everyone’s mind. Respect, not pride, should be the core of politics. He described Rajmata as a spiritual personality. The Prime Minister said due to public awareness and mass movements, many changes have taken place in the country in the past few years and many campaigns and schemes have become successful. He highlighted that the country is moving ahead on the path of development with the blessings of Rajmata. The Prime Minister said today the Nari Shakti of India is advancing and is leading in various fields in the country. He listed the initiatives of the Government which helped in fulfilling Rajamata’s dreams of women empowerment. The Prime Minister said it is also a wonderful coincidence that her dream of Ramjanmabhoomi temple for which she fought, has been fulfilled in the year of her birth centenary. He said the success of Atmanirbhar Bharat will help us in realizing her vision of a strong, secure and prosperous India.
India on Monday reported 66,732 fresh cases of coronavirus taking its tally over 71 Lakh mark. While the people who have recovered from the infection went past 61 lakh taking the recovery rate to 86.36 percent. The total number of cases in the country stands at 71,20,538 while the death toll climbed to 1,09,150 after claiming 816 in the past 24 hours. For the fourth day in a row, the number of active COVID-19 cases remained below 9 lakh. Now the country has 8,61,853 active cases of coronavirus which account for 12.1 percent of the total caseload. The case fatality rate due to the coronavirus infection has dropped to 1.53 percent.
An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Rambagh area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. A joint team of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) had launched a cordon and search operation upon getting a specific input about the presence of terrorists in the Rambagh area of Srinagar. There are reports of two or three terrorists being trapped in the area and the actual number will be known only after the operation is over. Firing has been going on from both sides since morning.
भारत और चीन के बीच महीनों से लद्दाख सीमा पर चल रहा तनाव अभी खत्म नहीं हुआ है। दोनों देशों को सेनाएं सीमा पर आमने सामने खड़ी हैं। दोनों ही देशों के बीच तनाव की स्थिति खत्म होने का नाम नहीं ले रही है। इसी बीच आज, लम्बे समय के बाद दोनों देशों के अधिकारी बातचीत करेंगे। आज भारत और चीन के बीच बातचीत का सातवां राउंड शुरू होगा। इस बैठक में लद्दाख सीमा से सैनिकों को पीछे हटाने पर डिस्कशन हो सकती है। ये बातचीत सोमवार दोपहर 12 बजे के करीब ईस्टर्न इलाके के चुशूल शुरू होगी। आज की इस बातचीत में भारत की ओर से बात करने वाले लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल हरिंदर सिंह की अगुवाई में ये आखिरी चर्चा होगी। वहीं इस बैठक में विदेश मंत्रालय के ज्वाइंट सेक्रेटरी नवीन श्रीवास्तव भी शामिल होंगे। साथ ही चीन की ओर से भी सैन्य अधिकारी के साथ विदेश मंत्रालय के अधिकारी शामिल हो सकते हैं। इस बातचीत में भारत की ओर से पूरे ईस्टर्न लद्दाख इलाके को बात करने और वहां तैनात चीनी सेना के जवानो को हटाए जाने का मुद्दा रखा गया है। वहीं चीन की ओर से सिर्फ पैंगोंग लेक को लेकर बात करने की बात कही जा रही है।
हाथरस रपे कांड को लेकर आज इलाहबाद हाईकोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच में आज सुनवाई होने वाली है। कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच पीड़िता का परिवार कोर्ट के लिए हाथरस से रवाना हो गया है। पीड़ित परिवार के एस्कॉर्ट में 6 गाड़ियां हैं। SDM अंजली गंगवार और CO भी पीड़ित परिवार के साथ लखनऊ जा रहे हैं। हाईकोर्ट में होने वाली सुनवाई में वकील विनोद शाही यूपी सरकार की ओर से पक्ष रखेंग। वहीं कोर्ट ने केस में शामिल उन तमाम सरकार व पुलिस के अफसरों को भी तालाब किया है जिन पर इस केस में लापरवाही बरतने का आरोप है। सुनवाई 2.30 बजे से शुरू होगी। पीड़ित परिवार सुबह 6 बजे हाथरस से लखनऊ के लिए रवाना हुआ है और 11-12 बजे तक उनके लखनऊ पहुंचने की संभावना है। पीड़ित परिवार से पांच लोग सीओ और मजिस्ट्रेट की निगरानी में कोर्ट के सामने पेश होंगे और अपना बयान दर्ज करवाएंगे। पीड़िता के परिवार के जो सदस्य लखनऊ जा रहे हैं उनमें पीड़िता के दोनों भाई, पिता, माता और भाभी शामिल हैं।
यूपी हाथरस गैंगरेप मामले में एक नई कड़ी का खुलासा हुआ है। पुलिस की जांच में पता चला है की पीड़िता के गांव में फर्जी रिश्तेदारों ने डेरा डाला हुआ था। कथित तौर पर खुद को पीड़िता की भाभी बताने वाली एक महिला का पर्दाफाश हुआ है। महिला रिश्तेदार पीड़ित परिवार में देखी गई है। पुलिस का दवा है की यह महिला पीड़ित परिवार को ठग रही थी। पुलिस के मुताबिक तथाकथित रिश्तेदार डॉ. राजकुमारी पीड़ित अपने आप को जबलपुर मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रोफेसर बता रही थी व पिछले कई दिनों से परिवार का दलित होने के नाते भरोसा जीत कर उनके यहां रही थी। पुलिस के मुताबिक यह महिला परिवार वालों को मीडिया में क्या बयान देना है इसको लेकर गाइड कर रही थी। पुलिस को शक होते ही महिला फरार हो गई।
कांग्रेस के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने देश की मोदी सरकार पर निशाना साधा है। गांधी ने एक वीडियो जारी कर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर वार किया है। सोशल मीडिया पर वीडियो पोस्ट करते हुए कांग्रेस नेता ने पूछा है कि ये कहां का न्याय है कि पीएम के लिए 8400 करोड़ रुपये खर्च कर आलीशान हवाई जहाज मंगाया जाय और जवानों को बिना बुलेट प्रूफ ट्रकों में शहीद होने भेज दिया जाए। राहुल गांधी ने शनिवार सुबह ट्वीट किया, 'हमारे जवानों को नॉन-बुलेट प्रूफ़ ट्रकों में शहीद होने भेजा जा रहा है और PM के लिए 8400 करोड़ के हवाई जहाज़! क्या यह न्याय है?' राहुल गांधी द्वारा पोस्ट इस वीडियो में ट्रक में बैठे जवानों को आपस में बात करते देखा जा सकता है। एक जवान कहता है कि नॉन बुलेट प्रूफ गाड़ियों में भेजकर हमारी जान के साथ खिलवाड़ किया जा रहा है। पिछले हफ्ते किसान विरोधी बिल के खिलाफ पंजाब में प्रदर्शन के दौरान भी राहुल गांधी ने आरोप लगाया था कि पीएम मोदी ने देश विरोधी नीतियों और कार्यों से देश को कमजोर कर दिया है।
फेक टीआरपी मामले में रिपब्लिक टीवी के लिए मुश्किलें कड़ी हो गई हैं। इस मामले में एक गवाह ने पुलिस के सामने यह कुबूल किया है कि उसे रिपब्लिक टीवी चैनल देखने के लिए हर महीने 483 रुपए दिए जा रहे थे। अब मुंबई पुलिस ने इस मामले को लेकर ब्रॉडकास्ट ऑडियंस रिसर्च काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया (BARC) को नोटिस भेजा हैं और ज़रूरी दस्तावेजक मुहैय्या करवाने को कहा है। कल इस मामले के सभी आरोपी, दो टीवी चैनलों के मालिक और हंसा रिसर्च के दो लोग, 37 कोर्ट में पेश किए जाएंगे। एक गवाह ने बताया कि उसके आवास पर एक बैरोमीटर लगाया गया था जिसके लिए उसे हर महीने 483 रुपये दिए जा रहे थे। गवाह ने कहा, 'जनवरी 2020 में आरोपी विशाल भंडारी और दिनेश विश्वकर्मा मेरे आवास पर आए। भंडारी और विश्वकर्मा ने मुझसे पूछा कि क्या मैं रिपब्लिक टीवी देखता हूं। मैंने उनसे कहा कि मुझे रिपब्लिक टीवी पसंद नहीं है। भंडारी और विश्वकर्मा ने कहा कि यदि मैं रिपब्लिक टीवी देखूंगा और टीवी पर रिपब्लिक टीवी लगाकर उसे ऑन रखूंगा तो इसके लिए मुझे 483 रुपये महीने मिलेंगे।'
The Central Bureau of Investigation is deeply saddened to hear the demise of Dr. Ashwani Kumar, former Director, CBI. CBI extends its deepest condolence & sympathy to the bereaved family and prays to the Almighty to give the family the strength & fortitude to bear their loss at this time of great sorrow. Sh. Rishi Kumar Shukla, Director, CBI has said "Our heartfelt emotions are with the bereaved family in this moment of profound tragedy. May his soul rest in peace". Dr. Ashwani Kumar, an IPS officer of the 1973 batch (Himachal Pradesh cadre) took over as the Director of CBI on 02.08.2008 and retired on 30.11.2010. He was the 24th Director of CBI after its formation in 1963. Before joining as Director, CBI, Dr. Ashwani Kumar was Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh for over two years. During his tenure of six years from 2001-2006 as Joint Director & Additional Director in CBI, Dr. Ashwani Kumar had worked as Joint Director (North) looking after the States of Punjab, Haryana, J&K, Rajasthan, U.P. and M.P. He also worked as Joint Director, Policy, Coordination and Interpol. Later, he was elevated to the rank of Additional Director and was given the charge of the Anti-corruption Wing. While in the Himachal Pradesh cadre, Dr. Ashwani Kumar held the post of IG & DIG Vigilance, Shimla from 1995 till 2000. Before that, he was DIG, CID and DIG Range, Shimla from 1991 onwards. He was the District Superintendent of Police in Shimla, Solan, Lahaul and Spiti. He also held the posts of Deputy Director and Assistant Director in the Special Protection Group, New Delhi from 1985 to 1990. Born on 15th November 1950, Dr. Ashwani Kumar completed Ph.D., Post Graduate in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Post Graduate Degree in Defence Studies. Dr. Ashwani Kumar was decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1989 and President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 1999. He had also received Special Duty Medal with Bar for his services in 1979 and 1980 besides appreciation from the Prime Minister of India, Union Home Minister, and the Minister of State (Personnel & Public Grievances). Dr. Ashwani Kumar served as Governor of Nagaland from 21st March 2013 to 27th June 2014 and also took additional charge of Governor of Manipur from 23rd July 2013 to 31st December 2013. After retirement, Dr. Kumar devoted his time in the field of academics and taught Management Studies. A condolence meeting is being organized today at CBI, HQ, New Delhi.
8 अक्तूबर 1932 में भारतीय वायुसेना की नींव रखी गई थी। आज भारतीय वायु सेना 88 साल की हो गई है। हर साल की तरह इस साल भी भारतीय वायुसेना दिवस (IAF Day : Indian Air Force Day) बड़ी धूम धाम से मनाया गया। हालांकि कोरोना वायरस के कारण इस साल पहले की तरह बड़ा कार्यक्रम आयोजित नहीं हुआ। पर इस साल IAF में जुड़े नए विमान प्रमुख आकर्षण रहे। राफेल लड़ाकू विमान के अलावा सुखोई, मिग, ग्लोबमास्टर, अपाचे, चिनूक हेलिकॉप्टर ने भी आसमान में अपनी ताकत दिखाई। इस बार फ्लाइ पास्ट में कुल 56 विमान शामिल हुए, जिनमें देशी-विदेशी कई लड़ाकू और अन्य विमान-हेलिकॉप्टर शामिल रहे। इनके अलावा सूर्यकिरण और सारंग टीम ने भी अपनी ताकत का एहसास करवाया। गाजियाबाद के हिंडन एयरबेस पर हुए विशेष कार्यक्रम में वायुसेना प्रमुख आरकेएस भदौरिया ने संबोधित किया। उन्होंने देश की जनता को सुरक्षा का भरोसा दिल्या और कहा कि हमारे क्षेत्र में खतरा बढ़ता जा रहा है, पड़ोसी देश के जरिए आतंकियों के खतरे को बढ़ाया जा रहा है तो वहीं साइबर स्पेस के चलते भी हमें नई चुनौतियां देखने को मिल रही हैं। वायुसेना हर मोर्चे पर अपने आप को तैयार कर रही है, साथ ही बॉर्डर पर पैनी निगाहें बनाई हुई है। वायुसेना प्रमुख ने कहा कि मौजूदा परिस्थितियों ने हमें और ताकतवर तैयारी करने के लिए सजग किया है। वायुसेना लगातार अपने बेड़े में नए विमानों को शामिल कर रही है, अपाचे और राफेल इसका ही उदाहरण हैं। कई पुराने एयरक्राफ्ट का अपग्रेडेशन भी किया जा रहा है। वायुसेना प्रमुख ने इस मौके पर कई वायुवीरों का सम्मान किया।
हिमाचल के पूर्व डीजीपी, सीबीआई के पूर्व निदेशक व नागालैंड के राज्यपाल रहे अश्वनी कुमार ने बुधवार को अपने शिमला स्तिथ आवास पर आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस को घटना स्थल से एक सुसाइड नोट भी बरामद हुआ। उस नोट में कुमार के सुसाइड के पीछे का राज़ छुपा हुआ है। अब उस राज़ पर से पर्दा हिमाचल डीजीपी संजय कुंडू ने उठा दिया है। कुंडू ने बताय की अश्वनी ने बीमारी और विकलांगता के चलते अपनी जीवन लीला समाप्त की। डीजीपी ने कहा, 'हमें एक सुसाइड नोट मिला है, जिसमें उन्होंने लिखा है कि वह अपनी मर्जी से बीमारी और विकलांगता के कारण अपना जीवन समाप्त कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी आत्मा एक नई यात्रा पर जा रही है और किसी को दुखी होने की आवश्यकता नहीं। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि उनके मरने पर कोई अनुष्ठान या समारोह न हो।' जानकारी के अनुसार बुधवार शाम करीब सात बजे, सीबीआई के पूर्व डायरेक्टर के बेटे और बहु ने उन्हें अपने कमरे में लटके हुए पाया था। वह हर दिन शाम 7 बजे के आसपास ध्यान लगाते थे और सभी दरवाजे खुले रखते थे। बुधवार शाम लगभग 7.00 बजे जब उनका बेटा और बहू टहलने जा रहे थे, तो उन्होंने अटारी के सभी दरवाजों को बंद पाया। जब दरवाजों को तोडा गया तो कुमार वहां रस्सी से लटके पाए गए जिस के बाद पुलिस को जानकारी दी गई। पुलिस ने शव को अपने कब्ज़े में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी है। आज सुबह बॉडी का पोस्टमॉर्टम होगा। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, पिछले छह महीने में कुमार के सक्रिय जीवन में आया ठहराव, उनका अचानक यूं घर में बंद होकर रह जाना आत्महत्या का कारण जान पड़ता है, लेकिन पुलिस सभी पहलुओं से जांच कर रही है।
हाथरस मामले में आए दिन नए नए मोड़ आ रहे हैं। अब इसी बीच प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने एक रिपोर्ट जारी की है जिसमें विदेशी फंडिंग का एंगल जोड़ा गया है। निदेशालय की शुरुआती रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, इस कांड के बहाने यूपी में जातीय दंगा फैलाने के लिए पापुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (पीएफआई) को मॉरिशस से 50 करोड़ आए थे। ईडी ने यह दावा भी किया है कि पूरी फंडिंग 100 करोड़ से अधिक रुपये की थी। फ़िलहाल पूरे मामले की तफ्तीश की जा रही है। बता दें हाथरस में दंगे भड़काने की साजिश रचने के आरोप में मेरठ से चार संदिग्धों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। बताया जा रहा है की इन चरों आरोपियों के तार पीएफआई संगठन जुड़े हुए हैं। पुलिस ने इनके पास से भड़काऊ साहित्य बरामद किया था। इससे पहले यूपी पुलिस ने एक वेबसाइट के जरिए दंगों की साजिश का दावा भी किया है। हाथरस पीड़िता को इंसाफ के नाम पर बनाई गई इस वेबसाइट में कई आपत्तिजनक बातें कही गई थ। हाथरस में हिंसा की साजिश के पहलू पर ईडी ने भी केस दर्ज कर लिया है।
दिल्ली शाहीन बाग में नागरिकता संशोधन कानून (CAA) के खिलाफ हुए प्रदर्शन को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बड़ा फैसला दिया है। कोर्ट ने कहा है कि सार्वजनिक स्थानों और सड़कों पर अनिश्चितकाल तक कब्जा नहीं किया जा सकता है। केवल तय स्थानों पर ही प्रदर्शन होना चाहिए। कोर्ट ने ये भी कहा कि आवागमन का अधिकार अनिश्चितकाल तक रोका नहीं जा सकता। कोर्ट ने ये भी कहा कि सार्वजनिक बैठकों पर प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाया जा सकता है लेकिन उन्हें निर्धारित क्षेत्रों में होना चाहिए। आने-जाने के अधिकार को रोका नहीं जा सकता है। विरोध और आने-जाने के अधिकार में संतुलन जरूरी है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फैसले में ये भी कहा कि प्रशासन को रास्ता जाम कर प्रदर्शन रहे लोगों को हटाना चाहिए, कोर्ट के आदेश का इंतजार नहीं करना चाहिए। गौरतलब है कि दिसंबर 2019 में केंद्र ने CAA बिल पास किया था जिसको लकर दिल्ली में शाहीन बाग से लेकर देश के कई हिस्सों में प्रदर्शन किए गए थे। शाहीन बाग में दिसंबर से मार्च तक कोरोना लॉकडाउन लगने तक सड़कों पर प्रदर्शन चला था।
ड्रग्स केस में बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने रिया चक्रवर्ती को कंडीशनल बेल दे दी है। हालाँकि उनके भाई शौविक चक्रबोर्ती और ड्रग पेड्ड्लर बासित परिहार की बेल प्ली कोर्ट ने ख़ारिज कर दी है। रिया चक्रवर्ती को 1 लाख के निजी मुचलके पर जमानत मिली है। साथ ही रिया हो अपना पासपोर्ट भी जमा करवाना होगा। वहीं उन्हें मुंबई से बाहर जाने के लिए मंजूरी लेनी होगी। जब भी NCB रिया को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाएगी उन्हें हाजिर होना होगा। बता दें, रिया को NCB ने 8 सितंबर को गिरफ्तार किया था। रिया पर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के लिए ड्रग्स की खरीद फिरोख्त करने का आरोप है। रिया और उनके भाई की कई ड्रग्स पेडलर्स संग चैट भी सामने आई थी।
