Kangana alleged that BMC is targeting her due to her fight with Shiv Sena. The demolition work began shortly after 11 am. Earlier in the day, the BMC posted a second notice outside her bungalow, informing her of the action being taken by the civic body. A BMC team reached the bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra with bulldozer and excavators and demolished alterations made. On the other hand, Kangana says that she is not going to give up in any way. Meanwhile, Kangana has shared old photos of her office. Official notice by BMC was given 24 hours ago to Kangana, but no response came from his side. She shared a tweet in which she wrote, “I have lived the courage, valor, and sacrifice of Rani Laxmibai through my films. The sad thing is that I am being prevented from coming to my own Maharashtra. I will continue to raise my voice against wrong, Jai Maharashtra, Jai Shivaji.”
A new twist was seen in the Sushant Singh Rajput case on Tuesday. Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days in the drug connection. Rhea has been shifted to Byculla Jail, after rejecting her bail last night. NCB said in its statement that Rhea has been charged with organizing drugs for her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, but did not confess to taking drugs herself. On the other hand, while mainstream Bollywood has been largely silent, several prominent celebs have come in support of Rhea on social media as a counter to the large section that has targeted her over Sushant’s case. They are demanding justice for Rhea. Now Rhea Chakraborty has reached Byculla jail and will be there until her bail application is accepted.
अरुणाचल प्रदेश से अगवा किए गए 5 भारतीयों को लेकर एक बड़ी खबर सामने आई है। चीन ने स्वीकार कर लिया है के ये युवा चीन के पास है। मंगलवार को केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने ट्वीट कर इसकी जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि अगवा भारतीयों को वापस लाने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है। केंद्रीय मंत्री रिजिजू ने ट्वीट कर बताया, 'भारतीय सेना की तरफ से भेजे गए हॉटलाइन संदेश पर चीन की पीएलए ने जवाब दिया है। उन्होंने पुष्टि की है अरुणाचल प्रदेश से लापता युवा उनकी तरफ पाए गए हैं। उन्हें अधिकारियों को सौंपे जाने की आगे की आपौचारिकताओं पर काम किया जा रहा है।' बता दें की अरुणाचल प्रदेश के सुबनसिरी जिले के पांचों युवक जंगल में शिकार करने गए थे जहां से वे लापता हो गए। बाद में परिजनों ने आरोप लगाया कि चीनी सेना पीपल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी (Peoples Liberation Army) ने उन्हें अगवा कर लिया है। पहले तो चीन ने इसकी जानकारी होने से इंकार कर दिया था, पर अब चीन की तरफ से मान लिया गया है की इस घटनाक्रम में उसका हाथ है।
तीन दिन तक ड्रग्स मामले में पूछ-ताछ के बाद NCB ने रिया चक्रवर्ती को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। ड्रग्स लेने और अन्य गम्भीर आरोपों के चलते रिया को कस्टडी में लिया गया था। पूछ ताछ के बाद रिया का मेडिकल व कोरोना टेस्ट करवाया गया जिसके बाद रिया को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। SSR मामले में रिया चक्रवर्ती की गिरफ्तारी का इंतजार फैन्स पिछले काफी वक्त से कर रहे थे। माना जा रहा था कि रिया की गिरफ्तारी सीबीआई द्वारा की जाएगी लेकिन इस केस में ड्रग एंगल आने के बाद से NCB की एंट्री हुई थी जिसमें पहले ड्रग खरीदने के मामले में रिया के भाई शोविक चक्रवर्ती की गिरफ्तारी हुई और अब ड्रग मामले में ही रिया चक्रवर्ती की भी गिरफ्तारी हुई है। इसके अलावा ड्रग्स केस में एनसीबी और भी कई बॉलीवुड सेलेब्स को समन कर सकती है।
There's a new turn in the Sandalwood drug racket case. After the arrest of actress Ragini Dwivedi, another Kannada actress Sanjana Galrani was also arrested by CCB on Tuesday. लाइन ऑफ एक्चुअल कंट्रोल (LAC) पर तनाव बढ़ता जा रहा है। एलएसी पर बीती रात चीनी सेना ने एक बार फिर फायरिंग की है। बता दें कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से लाइन ऑफ एक्चुअल कंट्रोल पर भारत व चीन के बीच तनाव चला हुआ है। सोमवार रात चीनी सेना ने भारतीय चौकी फायरिंग की है। चीन की ओर से हुई फायरिंग का भारतीय सेना ने मुहतोड़ जवाब दिया है। सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक फिलहाल हालात कंट्रोल में है। फायरिंग की ये घटना पैंगोंग झील के दक्षिणी हिस्से में स्थित शेपाओ माउंटेन टॉप्स पर हुई, जहां भारत भारत सामरिक नजरिये से काफी मजबूत हालत में आ गया है और यही बात चीन को चुभ रही है। बीती रात चीनी सेना ने फायरिंग करते हुए शेपाओ माउंटेन टॉप्स पर कब्जा करने की नाकाम कोशिश की। भारतीय सैनिकों ने चीन को तुरंत करारा जवाब दिया। सैनिकों ने जवाबी फायरिंग करके चीन को चेतावनी दी और अपनी पोस्ट की तरफ आते चीनी सैनिकों को तुरंत रोक दिया। लगातार चेतावनी देते हुए भारतीय सैनिकों ने कई गोलियां चलाईं। भारत की तरफ से करारा जवाब मिलते ही चीनी सैनिकों के कदम रुक गए।

Lancet study reported a research online which says that the two shot vaccine developed in Russia had a great immune response. The Russian vaccine for coronavirus was developed by Gamaleya Research Institute. The research showed that the vaccine was safe and does not cause serious adverse effects in healthy adult volunteers. “We are in close dialogue, agreements with certain companies in India. We appreciate that they didn’t ‘attack’ the vaccine but carefully sought to understand its mechanism of action. We are very grateful to India for the openness shown,” -Kirill Dmitriev (CEO of Russian Direct Investment Fund ) The vaccine consists of two components, a recombinant adenovirus type 26 (rAd26) vector and a recombinant adenovirus type 5 (rAd5) vector, both carrying the gene for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike glycoprotein (rAd26-S and rAd5-S). Russian scientists have begun with the Phase-3 trials of the vaccine in 40,000 volunteers, results are likely to be known publicly by the month of November.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the conference of governors held in regards to the new education policy on Monday. A new education policy has been announced by the government in the past, which is still being studied. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address that the country's goals can be met only through education policy and system. The PM said that the government's interference in education policy should be minimum as it belongs to everyone . On the new education policy, PM Modi said that suggestions from lakhs of people were taken for preparing this policy, including students, teachers and parents. Now a dialogue is to be held on the new education policy on how to implement it in the country, it is important because it is going to build the India of the 21st century. Himacahal Pradesh Chief Minister on Sunday said the state government will be providing security to actress Kangana Ranaut. He quoted, “This is our duty to provide her security as she is too a daughter of Himachal Pradesh and a celebrity.” The state is considering providing her security in the state and extending it to her upcoming visit to Mumbai. The CM disclosed it while addressing media after a BJP legislature meeting in Shimla. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal launched a mass awareness programme to aware people about the vector-borne disease. The campaign is named as '10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute campaign'. CM says "people will join hands against the vector borne disease dengue like the last time." CM Arvind Kejriwal started the campaign at his own house where he initiated with inspecting stagnant water in his own house where mosquitoes can breed. Mosquitoes can cause other vector borne diseases such as malaria, and chikungunya. The campaign will continue every sunday.
3.5-magnitude earthquake hits North Mumbai. This was the 4th light-intensity earthquake in Mumbai. An earthquake of magnitude 2.7 occurred 98 km north of Mumbai at 6:36 am on Saturday. Earlier on Friday, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake occurred 91 km North of Mumbai at 10:33 am. The same day at 11:41 pm, tremors of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale were felt at 98 km west of Nashik in Maharashtra. No damage of property or loss of life was reported.
Former MLA Nirvendra Mishra of Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh has been murdered. Nirvendra Kumar was beaten to death over a land dispute. The land in question is located near the bus station and the matter is in court. According to reports the other group forcibly tried to occupy the land while Nirvendra was resisting, retorting to which the other group beat him and his son belligerently. On the murder of Nirvendra Kumar Mishra, the Uttar Pradesh Congress attacked the Yogi government of the state and said that while the Yogi government sleeps, the Jungle Raj of UP is getting frightening. In the last few months, the incidence of crime in Uttar Pradesh has increased rapidly. The ongoing investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has reached a turning point today. Amidst the CBI investigation, the wires of this case have been linked to drugs, which the NCB is investigating. Rhea Chakraborty is under suspicion. Her brother Shovik and Sushant's two staff members, Samuel Miranda and Dipesh are arrested and questioned by the NCB. Today Rhea was also summoned and is being questioned thoroughly by officers of the NCB. NCB sources are quoting that Rhea’s arrest will depend on the cross-examination of the accused. Right now the inquiry is going on with Rhea in the NCB office. It is believed that the questioning will be continued the whole day. But if nothing is found in the cross-examination, Rhea cannot be arrested.

पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणभ मुख़र्जी के निधन पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने जताया शोक। उन्होंने उनके दिल्ली स्थित घर पहुँच कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने प्रणभ मुख़र्जी के साथ अपनी तस्वीर ट्विटर पर डाली और लिखा "दशकों तक चले अपने राजनीतिक जीवन के दौरान, श्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने प्रमुख आर्थिक और रणनीतिक मंत्रालयों में लंबे समय तक योगदान दिया। वह एक उत्कृष्ट सांसद थे, हमेशा अच्छी तरह से तैयार, बेहद मुखर और साथ ही मजाकिया। "
भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति भारत रत्न प्रणभ मुख़र्जी को अंतिम विदाई दी गई। उनका अंतिम संस्कार दिल्ली के लोधी रोड स्थित श्मशान घाट में किया गया। टयुमर के कारण उन्हें अस्पताल लाए जाने पर वह कोरोना संक्रमित पाए गए थे। जिसके चलते अंतिम संस्कार के दौरान भी ज़्यादा लोगों की मौजूदगी नहीं रही। कोरोना के चलते सभी ज़रूरी एहतियात के साथ अंतिम संस्कार किया गया।
भारतीय क्रिकेट में हमेशा से ही बल्लेबाज़ों का दबदबा रहा है, पर कुछ ऐसे भी गेंदबाज़ हैं जिन्होंने क्रिकेट के इतिहास में अपनी छाप छोड़ दी। एक ऐसा ही नाम है जवागल श्रीनाथ (Javagal Srinath)। श्रीनाथ भारतीय क्रिकेट प्रेमियों के चहेते हैं। उनके नाम, एक ऐसा रिकॉर्ड दर्ज है जो किसी भी खिलाड़ी के लिए मुश्किल है। वह भारत के ऐसे पहले तेज गेंदबाज रहे हैं जो लगभग 150 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से गेंद फेंकने की क्षमता रखते थे। उन्होंने किसी भी अन्य गेंदबाज़ से ज़्यादा 4 वर्ल्ड कप में हिस्सा लिया। क्रिकेट की दुनिया के रजनीकांत के नाम से जाने जाने वाले श्रीनाथ चाहने वालों के बीच 'मैसूर एक्सप्रेस' के नाम से भी मशहूर थे। श्रीनाथ का जन्म श्रीनाथ का जन्म 31 अगस्त 1969 का कर्णाटक के मैसूर जिला में हुआ था। उनकी शुरुआती पढ़ाई मैसूर के मारीमल्लप्पा हाई स्कूल से हुई। क्रिकेट में रूची रखने वाले श्रीनाथ ने छोटी उम्र से ही खेलना शुरू कर दिया था। उन्होंने मैसूर के श्री जयचामाराजेंद्र कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग से बैचलर ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग की। श्रीनाथ ने दो बार प्रेम विवाह किया। उनकी पहली शादी 1999 में ज्योत्सना नाम की लड़की के साथ हुई। बाद में दोनों ने सहमति से तलाक ले लिया। फिर उन्होंने ने 2008 में माधवी पत्रावली नाम के एक पत्रकार से शादी की। श्रीनाथ का करियर श्रीनाथ ने भारत की ओर से खेलते हुए 67 मैचों में 236 विकेट लिए। इसके अलावा उन्होंने टेस्ट क्रिकेट में 1,009 रन भी बनाए। श्रीनाथ ने 229 वनडे मैचों में 315 विकेट लिए। भारत की ओर से वनडे में सर्वाधिक विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाजों में श्रीनाथ की नाम पूर्व लेग स्पिनर अनिल कुंबले (337) के बाद दूसरे नंबर पर आता है। इसके अलावा वनडे क्रिकेट में उन्होंने 883 रन भी बनाए। जवागल श्रीनाथ ने फर्स्ट क्लास क्रिकेट में 533 जबकि लिस्ट ए क्रिकेट में 407 विकेट लिए। श्रीनाथ ने साल 1999 में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ ईडन गार्डन्स के मैदान पर मैच में 132 रन देते हुए कुल 13 विकेट हासिल किए थे पर दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण भारतीय टीम वो मैच हार गई। टेस्ट मैचों में श्रीनाथ ने 8 बार चार, 10 बार 5 और एक बार 10 विकेट अपने नाम किए हैं।
राजीव गाँधी (20 अगस्त 1944 - 21 मई 1991) भारत के सबसे कम उम्र के प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गाँधी के जीवन की कहानी किसी हिंदी नाटकीय फिल्म से कम नहीं रही। वैसे तो सत्य यह भी है कि राजनैतिक दुनिया किसी नाटक से कम नहीं है, और राजीव गाँधी की ज़िन्दगी इसका जीता जागता उदहारण रही। राजीव की राजनीति में आने की कहानी राजनीती में आने से पहले राजीव गाँधी इंडियन एयरलाइन्स में बतौर पायलट तैनात थे। राजीव की राजनीति में कोई दिलचस्पी नहीं थी। पर पारिवारिक हालत और परिस्तिथि ऐसे बने कि राजीव कि न सिर्फ राजनीति में एंट्री हुई बल्कि वे देश के प्रधानमंत्री भी बन गए। दरअसल , इंदिरा गाँधी की राजनैतिक विरासत उनके छोटे पुत्र संजय गाँधी संभल रहे थे। इंदिरा के बाद वे ही नंबर दो थे और ये तय था कि वे ही इंदिरा की राजनैतिक विरासत को संभालेंगे। पर पहले एक हादसे में संजय गाँधी का निधन हुआ और फिर 1984 में इंदिरा की एक आतंकवादी हमले में हत्या कर दी गई। इंदिरा की हत्या के बाद सभी निगाहें राजीव गाँधी पर टिक गई। आखिरकार, हालात के चलते वे रातो-रात विश्व के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र के प्रधानमंत्री बन गए।विरासत में मिला कार्यकाल पूरा कर 1 साल बाद फिर से चुनाव लड़ कर राजीव प्रचंड बहुमत से प्रधानमंत्री बने। राजीव का राजनैतिक कार्यकाल दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र भारत के सबसे युवा प्रधानमंत्री, राजीव पढ़े लिखे और सुलझे विचारों के थे, व जिस 21 वीं सदी में हम रहते हैं, इसका सपना राजीव ने ही संजोया था। जानते है बतौर प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गाँधी द्वारा लिए गए उन तीन बड़े फैसलों के बारे में जिन्होंने हिंदुस्तान को एक नई दिशा दी। - राजीव भारत में कंप्यूटर क्रान्ति लेकर आये जिसके चलते, भारत में विकास की गति बढ़ी व लोगों की रोज़मर्रा की ज़िन्दगी आसान हुई।हालंकि शुरूआती दौर में विपक्ष ने उनके इस निर्णय का जमकर विरोध किया पर आगे चलकर पूरा हिंदुस्तान उन्ही के बताये रास्ते पर चला। आज की सरकारें भी डिजिटल इंडिया का नारा देती है जिसका आगाज़ बतौर प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गाँधी ने किया था। - देश में मतदान करनी की वेध आयु 21 वर्ष हुआ करती थी जिसे राजीव गाँधी ने घटाकर 18 वर्ष किया। - वर्तमान पंचायती राज व्यवस्था भी राजीव गाँधी की सोच का ही नतीजा है। राजीव चाहते थे कि लोकतंत्र कि मजबूती के लिए सबसे निचले स्तर यानी पंचायत स्तर पर भी चुनाव हो। आगे चलकर पीवी नरसिम्हा राव की सरकार में उनकी सोच को अमलीजामा पहनाया गया। भारतीय राजनीति की सबसे खूबसूरत लव स्टोरी के नायक थे राजीव राजीव गाँधी की प्रेम कहानी एक खूबसूरत कल्पना की तरह शुरू हुई और एक दुखद मोड़ पर इसका अंत हुआ। राजीव जब इंग्लैंड में थे तो इटली की रहने वाली युवती, सोनिया मैनो को पहली नज़र में दिल दे बैठे। सोनिया, राजीव के ही कॉलेज में पढ़ती थी व राजीव ने उन्हें पहली बार कॉलेज की कैंटीन में देखा था। दोनों की जल्द ही दोस्ती हुई और दोस्ती एक खूबसूरत सपने की तरह प्यार में बदल गई। दोनो एक दूसरे को जीवन साथी के रूप में चुन चुके थे व जल्द ही अपने परिवारों को भी इसके बारे में बता दिया। कहते है कि मां इंदिरा चाहती थी कि राजीव की शादी बॉलीवुड के शोमैन राज कपूर की बेटी से हो। पर राजीव तो अपना दिल सोनिया को दे बैठे थे। राजीव के कहने पर इंदिरा सोनिया से मिली व दोनो के फैसले का खुले मन से स्वागत किया। दोनो की शादी 1968 में हुई। राजीव से हुई इस पहली मुलाक़ात के बारे में सोनिया ने उनकी मृत्यु के बाद लिखे एक पत्र में कहा था "मैं भूल जाना चाहती हूँ उनका आखिरी चेहरा , और रेस्टोरेंट में हुई वो पहली मुलाक़ात , वो मुस्कान याद रखना चाहती हूँ।"
पंडित जसराज : संगीत सम्राट को आखिरी सलाम। शास्त्रीय संगीत में महारथ हासिल करने वाले पंडित जसराज, अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहे इस खबर ने उनके सभी प्रशंसकों को गहरे शोक में डाल दिया। संगीत की दुनिया में अपना गुर दिखा कर आसमान की बुलंदियां छूने वाले पण्डित जसराज, संगीत की दुनिया से जुड़े हर व्यक्ति की प्रेरणा रहे। उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार पण्डित जसराज ने अमेरिका के न्यू जर्सी के एक अस्पताल में 17 अगस्त 2020 की सुबह 5:15 पर अंतिम सांस ली। पण्डित जसराज कि उम्र 90 साल थी व उनकी पुत्री दुर्गा जसराज के अनुसार उनकी मृत्यु कार्डियक अरेस्ट के कारण हुई। 90 साल के जीवन-काल में 80 साल संगीत जगत को देने वाले पण्डित जसराज, कला जगत में बे-हद लोकप्रिय थे उनकी मृत्यु की खबर पर प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी सहित राजनैतिक, संगीत व बॉलीवुड जगत के कई लोगों ने शोक जताया। पण्डित जसराज की मृत्यु से उनके प्रशंसक व उनसे प्रेरणा ले कर, संगीत सीखने वाले युवा कलाकारों के लिए यह खबर बेहद दुखद रही। पंडित जसराज कि ज़िन्दगी की एक झलक संगीत की दुनिया की इस महान हस्ती की पूरी ज़िन्दगी का इन शब्दों और पन्नों में समा पाना तो मुश्किल है, पर मेवाती घराने से संबंध रखने वाले, यह प्रसिद्ध गायक बहुत ही सरल व साधारण थे। इनका जन्म 26 जनवरी 1930 को हुआ। पंडित जसराज जब 4 वर्ष के थे तब ही उनके पिता का देहांत हो गया था इसके बाद उनकी परवरिश उनके बड़े भाई पंडित मनिराम ने की। वह बहुत कम उम्र से ही संगीत सीखने लगे थे और बतौर तबलावादक उन्होंने संगीत सीखने की शुरुआत की जिसे उन्होंने बाद में त्याग दिया था। उनकी शुरुआती संगीत शिक्षा उनके बड़े भाई द्वारा हुई। पंडित जसराज ने 14 वर्ष की आयु से, बतौर संगीतकार प्रशिक्षण शुरू किया एवं उनके शास्त्रीय संगीत की प्रेरणा, बेगम अख्तर को माना जाता है। कुछ समय बाद उन्होंने रेडियो पर बतौर संगीतकार काम करना शुरू किया व 22 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने अपना पहला कॉन्सर्ट किया। 1960 में उनकी मुलाक़ात,निर्देशक वी शांताराम की बेटी मधुरा शांताराम से हुई जिनसे उन्होंने 1962 में शादी की। शास्त्रीय संगीत में योगदान हिंदुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीत को नभ की ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने में पंडित जसराज का बड़ा योगदान रहा है। फ़िल्मी जगत की कल्पना संगीत के बिना कर पाना सम्भव नहीं और संगीत में किये पंडित जसराज के अध्ययनों द्वारा भारतीय संगीत को एक नई पहचान व सूरत मिली। अपनी मधुर व रस भरी आवाज़ के कारण वह अक्सर रस राज भी कहलाये जाते थे। पद्मविभूषण पंडित जसराज ने कई फ़िल्मी गानों को धुन व अपनी मधुर आवाज़ से सजाया। संगीत संस्कृति में उनके योगदान के लिए उन्हें कई सामानों एवं पुरस्कारों से नवाज़ा गए। जिनमे पद्म श्री (1975) , पद्मभूषण, पद्मविभूषण (2000) , संगीत कला रत्न , लता मंगेशकर पुरस्कार, मारवाड़ संगीत रत्न (2014) , महाराष्ट्र गौरव पुरस्कार , संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार शामिल हैं। संगीत के प्रति निष्ठा पंडित जसराज जी ने दिल्ली में एक कार्यक्रम में शिरकत के समय लोगों के उनकी ज़िंदगी के बारे में पूछे जाने पर जवाब दिया था , "सोचता हूं कि आज अगर 35 बरस का होता और 75 बरस के ये अनुभव साथ होते, और उससे आगे 35 बरस की यात्रा करता तो कितना फ़र्क़ होता। संगीत के प्रति यही भावनाएं, श्रद्धा और भक्ति होती तो जीवन कितना धन्य होता।" पंडित जसराज के ये शब्द संगीत के प्रति उनकी निष्ठा को दर्शाते हैं। उन्हें प्राप्त कई विशेष उपलब्धियों में से एक यह भी थी के वह सातों द्वीपों पर प्रस्तुति दने वाले पहले भारतीय कलाकार थे। जीवन में अमर तो कोई भी नहीं परन्तु एक कलाकार मृत्यु के बाद भी जीवित रहता है अपनी कला में व अमर हो जाता है प्रशंसकों के दिल में।
वो दौर था 1857 का, पूरे देश में क्रांति की ज्वाला भड़क रही थी। ऐसे में पहाड़ों की शांत वादियों में लगी चिंगारी भी कम नहीं थी। धीमें से सुलग रही इस क्रांति की चिंगारी ने जब विकराल रूप लिया तब लगभग पूरा हिमाचल इसकी जद में आ गया। 20 अप्रैल 1857, वो दिन जब पहली बार हिमाचल प्रदेश में अंग्रेज़ों के खिलाफ धधक रही ज्वाला ने विकराल रूप धारण किया। क्रांति का आगाज़ हुआ कसौली से। अंबाला राइफल डिपो के छह भारतीय सैनिकों ने कसौली थाने को आग के हवाले कर दिया। अंग्रेजों के सुरक्षित गढ़ कही जाने वाली कसौली छावनी पर हुए इस हमले से गोरे बौखला उठे और उन्होंने अन्य छावनी क्षेत्रों व कंपनी सरकार के कार्यालयों की सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी। गोरों ने कई क्रांतिकारियों को जेलों में डाल दिया और कईयों को सूली पर चढ़ा दिया, पर सैनिकों का बलिदान ज़ाया नहीं गया। कसौली से भड़की इस ज्वाला ने पूरे हिमाचल में आज़ादी की अलख जगा दी। इसके बाद डगशाई छावनी, सुबाथू, कालका व जतोग में क्रांति की लहर दौड़ी। उधर कांगड़ा, नूरपुर, धर्मशाला, कुल्लू-लाहुल, सिरमौर व अन्य रियासतों में भी विद्रोह प्रखर हो गया। बुशहर के राजा शमशेर सिंह, कुल्लू-सिराज के युवराज प्रताप सिंह, सुजानपुर के राजा प्रताप चंद गुप्त रूप से क्रांतिकारियों की गतिविधियों में संलिप्त हो गए। 11 मई को अंग्रेजों को मेरठ, दिल्ली और अम्बाला में विद्रोह की सुचना मिली। गोरों ने कसौली, सुबाथू, डगशाई व जतोग की छावनियों को अंबाला कूच का आदेश दिया। भारतीय सैनिकों ने इस आदेश का खुले तौर पर विद्रोह किया और बगावत का ऐलान कर दिया। 13 मई को जतोग में गोरखा रेजिमेंट ने सूबेदार भीम सिंह के नेतृत्व में देशी सैनिकों ने अंग्रेजों पर धावा बोल दिया। सिर्फ 45 क्रांतिकारियों ने 200 अंग्रेजों को धूल चटा दी। सैनिकों ने कसौली ट्रेजरी को लूटा और जतोग की तरफ बढ़ने लगे। इस बारे में अंग्रेज़ों के तत्कालीन कमिश्नर पी. मैक्सवैल ने अपनी डायरी में जिक्र किया है और हैरानी जताई है कि कैसे मुट्ठीभर क्रांतिकारियों ने अपने से चार गुना अधिक अंग्रेजी सेना को हरा दिया था। इसके बाद विद्रोह की डोर स्थानीय पुलिस ने अपने हाथों में ली। स्थानीय पुलिस गार्ड के दरोगा बुद्धि सिंह जतोग पर कब्जे के लिए रवाना हो गए। जतोग पहुँचते पहुँचते रास्ते में अंग्रेजी सेना ने कुछ क्रांतिवीरों को पकड़ लिया तो कुछ मारे गए। जबकि बुद्धि सिंह ने गोरों के हाथों मरने से भला स्वयं को गोली मरना समझा और वो शहीद हो गए। पहाड़ी रियासतों में क्रांति योजनाबद्ध तरीके से हो रही थी, जिसके लिए एक गुप्त संगठन बना हुआ था, जिसके सदस्य सूचनाओं को यहां-वहां पहुंचाया करते थे। पहाड़ों में इस क्रांति के नेता पंडित राम प्रसाद वैरागी थे। वैरागी सुबाथू मंदिर में पुजारी थे। वे संगठन पत्रों के माध्यम से संदेश भेजा करते थे। 12 जून 1857 को इस संगठन का कुछ पत्र अंबाला के कमिश्नर जीसी बार्नस के हाथ लगे, जिसमें दो पत्र राम प्रसाद वैरागी के भी थे। इसके साथ ही संगठन का भेद खुल गया। वैरागी को पकड़ कर अंबाला जेल में फांसी पर चढ़ा दिया गया। क्रांतिकारियों को सहयोग न मिला व अंग्रेज़ों ने 1857 के विद्रोह को दो महीनो में ही दबा दिया और प्रदेश में लगी विद्रोह की ज्वाला कुचल दी गई।
करोड़ों लोगों के हरदिल अजीज़ राहत इंदौरी साहब आज हमारे बीच नहीं रहे, पर उन के लिखे अल्फ़ाज़ हमेशा हर हिंदुस्तानी के दिल में ज़िंदा रहेंगे। जहाँ उन्होंने मोहब्बत की शायरी से युवाओं के दिल में घर किया वहीँ उनकी बगावत की शायरी लोगों के लिए बुलंद आवाज बनी। 'किसी के बाप का हिंदुस्तान थोड़ी है', राहत साहब की इस लाइन ने नागरिकता संशोधन कानून और भारतीय नागरिक रजिस्टर के विरोध में प्रदर्शकारियों को अल्फ़ाज़ दिए। उस दौरान महरूम शायर की इन पंक्तियों ने खूब सुर्खियां बटोरीं। उनकी लिखी पंक्तियाँ आंदोलन की आवाज़ बनी। राहत इंदौरी ने सीएए-एनआरसी के मुद्दे पर अपनी राय रखते हुए कहा था 'सभी का खून है शामिल यहां की मिट्टी में, किसी के बाप का हिंदुस्तान थोड़ी है।' 'लगेगी आग तो आएंगे घर कई ज़द में यहां पे सिर्फ़ हमारा मकान थोड़ी है, जो आज साहिबे मसनद हैं कल नहीं होंगे किराएदार हैं, ज़ाती मकान थोड़ी है, सभी का ख़ून है शामिल यहां की मिट्टी में किसी के बाप का हिंदुस्तान थोड़ी है!' बहुत चुनिंदा कवि / शायर या साहित्यकार ऐसे हुए है जिनके अल्फ़ाज़ किसी आंदोलन की आवाज़ बने हो। 1. "इंकलाब जिंदाबाद" यानी, क्रांति अमर रहे। आज़ादी के समय में एक नारा मशहूर हुआ था और आज भी है 'इंकलाब जिंदाबाद।' कई लोगों का ये मानना है कि ये नारा शहीद भगत सिंह ने ही पहली बार दिया था। लेकिन हक़ीक़त में यह नारा उर्दू शायर मौलाना हसरत मोहानी ने 1921 में दिया था। तब से लेकर आज तक कोई धरना या प्रदर्शन हो या फिर देश की सम्प्रभुता और एकता व अखंडता का कोई जलसा हो, हर जगह यह नारा बुलंद होता है। इंक़लाब जिन्दबाद का नारा अमर था और सदा अमर रहेगा। 2. "सिंहासन खाली करो कि जनता आती है" 1977 में लगी इमरजेंसी के दौरान लोकनायक जयप्रकाश नारायण ने इसी नारे के साथ इंदिरा गाँधी को चुनौती दी थी। रामधारी सिंह ‘दिनकर’ की कविता से ली इन पंक्तियों ने इंदिरा सरकार की नींव हिला दी थी। दिनकर ने आजादी की लड़ाई से लेकर, उसके बाद तक अपनी लेखनी से जनता को उसके अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक किया। उन्होंने हिंदी साहित्य में न केवल वीर रस के काव्य को एक नई ऊंचाई दी, बल्कि अपनी रचनाओं के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय चेतना का भी सृजन किया। उनकी प्रेरक देशभक्ति रचनाओं के कारण उन्हें राष्ट्रकवि के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित किया गया। 'फावड़े और हल राजदण्ड बनने को हैं, धूसरता सोने से शृँगार सजाती है; दो राह, समय के रथ का घर्घर-नाद सुनो, सिंहासन खाली करो कि जनता आती है।' 3. "मेरे सीने में नहीं तो तेरे सीने में सही, हो कहीं भी आग, लेकिन आग जलनी चाहिए।" दुष्यंत कुमार की कविता इस कविता का अर्थ है "सिर्फ हंगामा खड़ा करना मेरा मकसद नहीं, मेरी कोशिश है कि ये सूरत बदलनी चाहिए।" दुष्यंत की नज़र उनके युग की नई पीढ़ी के ग़ुस्से और नाराज़गी से सजी बनी है। यह ग़ुस्सा और नाराज़गी उस अन्याय और राजनीति के कुकर्मो के ख़िलाफ़ नए तेवरों की आवाज़ थी, जो समाज में मध्यवर्गीय झूठेपन की जगह पिछड़े वर्ग की मेहनत और दया की नुमानंदगी करती है।
उत्तर प्रदेश के बुलंदशहर में मनचलों की छेड़खानी के कारण एक होनहार छात्रा सड़क हादसे की शिकार बन गई। स्कॉलरशिप पर अमेरिका में पढ़ाई करने वाली ये छात्रा सोमवार सुबह अपने चाचा के साथ बाइक पर मामा के घर जा रही थी, तभी उनकी बाइक बुलेट से टकरा गई और मौके पर ही छात्रा की मौत हो गई। चाचा का कहना है कि वह बाइक पर जा रहे थे, तभी बुलेट सवार कुछ मनचले पीछा करने लगे। इसी दौरान उनकी बाइक बुलेट से टकरा गई और मौके पर ही छात्रा की मौत हो गई। गौतमबुद्ध नगर के दादरी की रहने वाली सुदीक्षा भाटी एक होनहार छात्रा थीं। सुदीक्षा ने 2018 में इंटरमीडिएट में बुलंदशहर जनपद में टॉप किया था। HCL की तरफ से 3 करोड़ 80 लाख रुपये की स्कॉलरशिप मिलने पर सुदीक्षा उच्च शिक्षा के लिए अमेरिका चली गई थी। सुदीक्षा अमेरिका के बॉब्सन कॉलेज में भारत सरकार के खर्च पर पढ़ रही थी। हल ही में वो छुट्टियों में घर आई हुई थीं। सुदीक्षा भाटी के परिजनों का आरोप है कि जब बाइक से वह औरंगाबाद जा रहे थे, तब उनकी बाइक का बुलेट सवार दो युवकों ने पीछा किया। कभी युवक अपनी बुलेट को आगे निकालते तो कभी छात्रा पर कमेंट पास करते। इतना ही नहीं, ये सिरफिर चलते-चलते स्टंट भी कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान अचानक बुलेट सवार युवकों ने अपनी बाइक का ब्रेक लगा दिया और बुलेट की टक्कर सुदीक्षा की बाइक से हो गई। बाइक गिर गई और सुदीक्षा के सर पर चोट लग गई। सुदीक्षा ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया।
उत्तराखंड की राजधानी देहरादून में रविवार हुई भरी बारिश से बाढ़ जैसे हालात पैदा हो गए हैं। सड़कों पर खड़ी गाड़ियां और छोटे वाहन पानी अपने साथ बहा ले गया तो कहीं दीवारें ढह गई। कई जगह मलबा आने से रास्ते बंद पड़े हैं। और तो और कई लोगों के घरो के अंदर पानी घुस गया। वहीं मौसम विभाग ने सोमवार को अल्मोड़ा, ऊधमसिंह नगर, रुद्रप्रयाग, उत्तरकाशी और चमोली में हल्की बारिश की संभावना जताई है। देहरादून, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर, नैनीताल, चंपावत, पौड़ी, हरिद्वार और टिहरी के अधिकांश क्षेत्रों में बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। सोमवार को भी रुक रुक कर जारी बारिश से शहर के कई इलाकों में जलभराव हो गया। देहरादून और ऊपरी पहाड़ी इलाकों में हुई बारिश से देहरादून में रिस्पना नदी में भी जलस्तर बढ़ गया है जिस कारण आवाजाही में भरी दिक्कत आ रही है। वहीं मसूरी के पास पर्यटन स्थल कैंपटी फॉल व यमुना नदी के बढ़े जलस्तर ने स्थानीय लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं। कैंपटी फॉल में जलस्तर बढ़ने से आसपास की दुकानों में पानी भर गया जिस से दुकानदारों का सामान क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया।
भारत चीन बॉर्डर पर बढ़ रही तनातनी को कम करने के लिए शनिवार को दोनों देशों के बीच मेजर जनरल स्तर की बातचीत शुरू हो गई है। इस से पहले LAC पर सबकुछ यथास्तिथ करने के लिए कमांडर स्तर की पांच बैठके हुई हैं पर कोई पुख्ता हल नहीं निकल पाया था। अब इस तनाव को कम करने के लिए मेजर जनरल स्तर की वार्ता हो रही है। यह बातचीत दौलत बेग ओल्डी इलाके में हो रही है। यह वार्ता गलवान क्षेत्र के उत्तर में देपसांग के मैदानी इलाकों से सैनिकों को हटाने के संबंध में की जा रही है। 3 माउंटेन डिवीजन के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग मेजर जनरल अभिजीत बापट भारतीय पक्ष से वार्ता की अगुवाई कर रहे हैं।। इस बातचीत का अजेंडा देपसैंग इलाके में तनाव कम करना और विवादित सीमा से दूर हटने पर सहमति बनाना है। बता दें कि चीन ने देपसैंग में अपने 1500 से ज्यादा सैनिक तैनात कर रखे हैं। इधर भारत ने भी बड़ी संख्या में जवानों की तैनाती की है। बैठक में 16,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित 900 वर्ग किलोमीटर के मैदानों में हो रही है। पहले भी भारत द्वारा चीन पर अपने सैनिकों को पीछे हटाने का दबाव डाला गया है ताकि तनाव की स्थिति कम हो जाए, हालांकि चीन अभी फिंगर एरिया से ज्यादा पीछे नहीं हटा है।

The aircraft carrying over 190 people on board, while landing in heavy rains overshot the tabletop runway, fell into a valley 35 feet below and broke into two. It failed to hold on the runway due to poor weather conditions and skidded for more than 75 m. The Air India flight was part of Vande Bharat mission to bring back Indians stuck in the Middle Eastern countries during the pandemic.

केरल के इडुक्की जिला के राजमला इलाके में भूस्खलन की बड़ी घटना सामने आई है। इस घटना में लोगो को जान और माल दोनों का ही भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ा। भारी बारिश और बाढ़ के चलते नौ लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और 10 लोगों को बचाया गया है, वहीं 57 अभी भी लापता हैं। इसके चलते केरल के तीन जिलों में 11 अगस्त तक के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। केरल के राजमला इलाके में भूस्खलन हो गया। केरल पुलिस के अनुसार हादसे में अब तक नौ लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और 10 लोगों को बचाया गया है वहीं 57 अभी भी लापता हैं। बचाव कार्य के लिए एनडीआरएफ (राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल) की टीम को तैनात किया है। वन अधिकारी और अन्य आपातकालीन सेवा के कर्मचारी मौके पर मौजूद हैं। हादसे के प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों का कहना है कि जब भूस्खलन हुआ तो उन्होंने बहुत जोर की आवाज सुनी। एक व्यक्ति ने कहा कि लोग बचने के लिए भाग रहे थे और पानी चला आ रहा था। मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय ने बचाव कार्यों के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए भारतीय वायु सेना से संपर्क किया है। यह सेवा जल्द ही उपलब्ध होने की उम्मीद है। राज्य की स्वास्थ्य मंत्री केके शैलजा ने बताया कि एक मोबाइल मेडिकल टीम और 15 एंबुलेंस को इडुक्की भेजा गया है। जरूरत पड़ने पर और मेडिकल टीमें भेजी जाएंगी। अस्पतालों को अलर्ट रहने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया है। केरल के राजस्व मंत्री ई चंद्रशेखरन ने कहा है कि चार श्रमिक शिविरों में लगभग 82 लोग रह रहे थे। हमें मालूम नहीं है कि भूस्खलन के समय वहां कितने लोग मौजूद थे। एनडीआरएफ की टीम अभी तक मौके पर नहीं पहुंची है। खराब मौसम के कारण फिलहाल लोगों एयरलिफ्ट कर बचाना संभव नहीं है। इडुक्की में भूस्खलन के बाद केरल के तीन जिलों में 11 अगस्त तक के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि बचावकर्मियों ने कम से कम पांच शवों को निकाला है।
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the inaugural address at the Higher Education Conclave. PM mentioned that the National Education Policy was approved after extensive deliberations over 3-4 years and brainstorming over lakhs of suggestions. He noted that healthy debate and discussions are taking place on National Education policy across the country. National Education Policy aims at making the youth Future Ready while focussing on the National Values and National Goals. Narendra Modi said that the policy lays the foundation of the New India, the 21st Century India, the education and skills needed for the youth to strengthen India, to advance it to new heights of development and to further empower the citizens of India to make them suitable for maximum opportunities. The Prime Minister said that for years our education system remained unchanged leading to lopsided priorities where people were focussing on either becoming a doctor, an engineer, or a lawyer. He said there was no mapping of the Interest, Ability and Demand. The Prime Minister questioned how could critical thinking and innovative thinking develop in the youth unless there is Passion in our education, Philosophy of Education, Purpose of Education. The Prime Minister said National Education Policy also reflects the ideals of Guru Rabindranath on Education, which aims at bringing our lives in harmony with all the existence. He said, a Holistic Approach was needed, which the National Education Policy has achieved successfully. He said the Policy was formulated keeping in mind two biggest questions: Whether our education system motivates our youth for Creative, Curiosity, and Commitment Driven Life? And whether our education system empowers our youth, helps in building an Empowered Society in the country? On this, he expressed satisfaction that the National Education Policy takes care of these pertinent issues. The Prime Minister said that India's education system needs to change according to the changing times. The new structure of a 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 curriculum is a step in this direction, he added. He said that we have to ensure that our students become Global Citizens and also remain connected to their roots. The PM said the new education policy stresses on ‘How to think’. He said the emphasis on inquiry-based, discovery-based, discussion-based, and analysis based learning methods for children will enhance their urge to learn and participate in the classes. The PM urged that every student should get the opportunity to follow his passion. It often happens that when a student goes for a job after doing a course, he finds that what he has studied does not meet the requirement of the job. He said that many students also leave the course. He said in order to take care of the needs of all such students, the option of multiple entry-exit has been provided in the New Education Policy. PM said the New Education Policy provides for a Credit Bank so that students can have the freedom to leave a course in between and utilize them later when they want to resume their courses. He said that we are moving towards an era where a person will have to constantly re-skill and up-skill himself. The PM said that the dignity of every section of society plays a big role in the development of any country. Therefore, a lot of attention has been given to student education and the Dignity of Labor in National Education Policy. PM said that India has the ability to give solutions for talent and technology to the whole world and that the National Education Policy also addresses this responsibility, which aims at developing many technology-based content and courses. He said that concepts like virtual labs are going to carry the dream of better education to millions of peers who could not read such subjects before, which required Lab Experiment. National Education Policy is also going to play an important role in ending the gap between research and education in our country. The PM said that National Education Policy can be implemented more effectively and at a faster pace only when these reforms would be reflected in Institutions and Infrastructure. He said that the need of the hour is to build the values of Innovation and adaptation in society and this should start from the Institutions of our country. The Prime Minister said that higher education institutions need to be empowered through Autonomy. He said that there are two types of debates about Autonomy. One says that everything should be done strictly under government control, while the other says that all institutions should get Autonomy by default. He said that the first opinion comes out of mistrust towards non-government institutions while Autonomy is treated as an entitlement in the second approach. He said the path to Good Quality Education lies somewhere in the middle of these 2 opinions. He felt the institute that does more work for quality education should be rewarded with more freedom. This will provide Encouragement to Quality and will also give Incentive to everyone to grow. He wished that as the national education policy expands, the autonomy of educational institutions will also get faster. Quoting former President of the country, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam “The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise. Enlightened human beings can be created by teachers.” The Prime Minister said that the policy focuses on developing a strong teaching system where teachers can in turn produce good professionals and good citizens. There is a great emphasis on teacher training in national education policy, they are constantly updating their skills, there is a lot of emphasis on this. PM urged people to work together with the determination to implement the National Education Policy. He said that a new round of dialogue and coordination with Universities, Colleges, School education boards, different states, different stakeholders is about to start from here. He urged to continue the webinar on National Education Policy and keep discussing it. He expressed confidence that in this Conclave, better suggestions, effective solutions will come out regarding the Effective Implementation of National Education Policy.

India's Covid-19 cases tally crossed 20 lakh mark with the highest single-day spike of 62,538 cases on Friday. The Covid-19 tally rises to 20,27,075 including 6,07,384 active cases while the recovery rate has gone up to 67.62%. This is the ninth consecutive day that COVID-19 cases have increased by more than 50,000. In the past 24 hours, 886 patients succumbed to coronavirus infection taking the death toll to 41,585. India's deaths per million population is now 30 (world average: 92) It took India three weeks to post its second million. And the majority of the new cases - 42 percent - has come from five states, namely Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar. The number of Covid-19 cases in India reached five lakh (or half million-mark) on June 26, in just a little over 19 days. The next half-million came on July 16, according to an analysis of data from states and union territories. After the one million-mark, India crossed the 1.5 million milestones on July 28 and two million on August 6.
